Lose 5 Lbs Fast -- A Quick, Simple, Healthy Way

Want to lose 5 lbs fast? Want to do it in a way that actually boosts your energy, speeds up your metabolism, improves your overall health, and make you feel really good?

Most people can lose 5 or more pounds -- and several inches from their waistlines -- in a matter of days if they take the steps outlined below. Sure, some of that will be "water weight" but much of it will also be toxins/waste products and pure body fat. 1. Avoid the "Crap" Foods

The biggest thing holding you back from losing fat and pounds is your diet. If you want to burn fat and reduce the "bloating" that adds inches to your belly, you've got to avoid crappy, low-quality foods that don't "burn" cleanly in your body. Many people are able to lose 5 pounds in a matter of days simply by avoiding these foods:

-- Wheat, corn, rice, and other grains (especially highly-processed "refined" flours)
-- Milk and other dairy products

-- Fried foods

For many people, these foods stop fat loss and trigger weight gain and bloating. If you cut all of them from your diet, at least for a week or two, you will almost definitely lose 5 pounds fast! If you choose to continue eating grains and dairy, at least choose the best versions: 100% whole grain products and low-fat/low-sugar/high-protein cheeses, yogurts, and kefir.


2. Do Quick Cleanses

Do short 1 or 2-day raw juice fasts and/or raw foods diets often. Raw vegetables and fruits are packed with healthy nutrients that can help to cleanse/detox your body quickly while allowing you to lose several pounds in a short period of time. Also be sure to drink LOTS of water and unsweetened teas every day, which helps your body eliminate toxins and waste products efficiently while also boosting your energy and optimizing your metabolism.


3. Do Short, Efficient Workouts

Instead of boring yourself to death (not to mention risking burnout and injury) doing hours of "cardio" exercise, perform short, intense, efficient workouts several times per week. Base your workouts around intervals, which are short bursts of high-intensity activity. This will speed up fat loss while forcing your body to produce hormones that make it very easy to lose 5 lbs quickly!
