The Quickest Way to Lose 20 Pounds (Healthy)

Looking for a way to lose a lot of weight quickly, but also in a relatively healthy manner? There are thousands of ways to burn fat and lose weight fast, but most aren't very safe or healthy. In this short post I'm going to show one of the quickest ways to lose 20 pounds without hurting your health or slowing down your metabolism. Using the tips below you should be able to lose 1o to 20 lbs within the next 4 to 6 weeks. Good luck!

GET FOCUSED -- Focus is everything. Write down your goal (e.g. "Lose 20 pounds by March 1st") and read it to yourself daily. Spend a minute each day thinking about how great you'll look and feel after getting 20 lbs of ugly, useless flab off your body. Focus on achieving your goal and success will come much faster!

BOOST YOUR ENERGY -- More energy equals faster, healthier fat loss. Boost your energy naturally by getting plenty of sleep each night, drinking at least 70 ounces of water per day, and avoiding refined sugars, trans fats, and alcohol as much as possible.

EAT SUPER-CLEAN -- Eating a "super clean" diet is definitely one of the fastest ways to lose weight. In fact, a simple diet based around lean proteins, good carbs, and healthy fats could allow you to lose 15 or 20 pounds all by itself. No matter what, cut out all processed sugars, flours, and fats!

EAT OFTEN -- Eat 5 or 6 small protein-rich meals and snacks per day, spaced 2-3 hours apart. This will help suppress your appetite, boost your energy, and increase your metabolism... all in a safe, natural, healthy way.

DO THE BEST KIND OF EXERCISE -- Smart exercise combined with healthy diet is always the quickest way to lose 20 lbs. The best exercise is full-body strength training combined with interval-based cardio exercise. Keep your workouts short, intense, and enjoyable and you'll get better fat loss and muscle-toning results.

TAKE SOME SUPPLEMENTS -- Take whey protein powder, omega 3 fats, and a good multi-vitamin supplement. The whey makes it easy to boost your protein intake and the omega 3 fats and multi-vitamins ensure that your body has all the nutrients it needs to support the fastest possible weight loss.

So there you go: a simple, healthy, proven way to lose 10 or 20 pounds in a matter of weeks. It all really comes down to focusing on your goal, eating a healthy diet with little or no refined/processed food, and doing the most effective form of fat-burning exercise. Combine some inexpensive support supplements and you have yourself the quickest way to lose 10, 20, or even 30 pounds in a healthy and relatively safe manner!

sounds great but what happens if you are like me. I don't eat any vegetables at all, don't like them. I have gained over 40lbs and I workout 3-4 times a week and I have not lost not even a pound in fact I gained. I try eating 5-6 times as you said but I get no results. I need help, can someone guide me to the right path.

Just because you are supposed to eat 5 to 6 small meals that does not mean you can eat whatever you please for those meals. Try grilled chicken and things with no butter or oils. Keep count of every calorie you take in and try to burn more calories than u take in. DRINK A RIDICLOUS AMOUNT OF WATER. If u dont lose weight after all of that and moderate exercise I suggest talking to your doctor about it.

And force yourself to eat some vegetables. You will learn to like them. Be careful not to salt them too much. That's a bad habit.

Ok for the 13 year old. Hunny, trust me, what you wanna do is get toned, not lose weight. I'm 17 almost 18 and I ... Well I think the majority of us girls... went though what you're going through at that age. And remember, your body still needs to mature. By the time you're 16 your body will stop maturing. If you wanna lose belly and leg fat ( like I do) sit ups and running and walking/ running up stairs should do the trick. Also, eating healthy ( the food groups on the food pyramid) and eating a HEALTHY amount (not too much, but NOT TOO LITTLE) should do the trick. Remember girly, you still have 3 years to grow into your body(: also... If you or your friends are trying to go for that magazine model look. Dont do it, if you check out articles, you'll see that not only do they themselves NOT look like that and its allllll photoshop, you'll see that they have to be at a crazy unhealthy weight just to keep their job. So not worth it /: besides all of my guy friends say that twiggy girls aren't adorable cuz its disturbing how bony they look.

If you're 4'11" and you weigh 120lbs then I promise you, you don't have a huge belly and huge thighs. Take this advice from a 35 year old woman, you have to love yourself and have a positive outlook about you. Don't focus on the size and weight of your friends, that will only discourage you. Don't look in fashion magazines, that will only make you feel ugly. You have got to be 100% on your side. Say positive things to yourself. Don't say or think negatively about yourself. There's no point. Life is too short.

And yes, a low calorie program will work for you, as well. Be sure to take into account any exercise you might be doing. If you exercise a lot or are involved in school sports then you might need more than 1200 calories. I use a calorie app on my phone. I eat about 6 meals a day that are around 200 calories each. So, I eat every two hours starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. You could adjust this for your schedule.

Be good to yourself 13 years, 4'11" high, and 120 lbs.

I agree with this. But a slight flaw.... Exercise often. Do it 5-6 days a week. What I do is lift hard, and run hard. The reason I am on here is because I'm 15 5'11 163lbs. I need to lose atleast 15 lbs so I can play better on my football team. I'm going to be a WR. A great diet and exercise can get you everywhere in life. Three years ago I was fat and slow. Now I'm muscular. These steps do help. But don't stop this when you lose 20 lbs.... Keep going. -Columbus Bulldogs- peace out. Evan Linville
