REAL Brazil Butt Lift Workout Reviews

OK so Brazil Butt Lift is the new "hot" fitness product from Beachbody. And like the popular Insanity workout (and pretty much all of their products) it's tough to find real, unbiased reviews from people who aren't just trying to sell to you. Yes, Amazon has a handful of reviews (4/2011 Update: Amazon now has many reviews!) but many of them don't seem exactly "authentic". We have gotten several inquiries regarding the product but have yet to try it ourselves. If you or someone you know has tried the Brazil Butt Lift workout program please leave your own reviews, testimonials, opinions, etc. in the "comments" section at the bottom of this page. Thanks!

The idea behind this new at-home workout program is to help women get the kind of perfect butts that so many Brazilian models have. And, having spent some time in Brazil, believe me when I say that the women down their have some of the best-looking, sexiest, and fittest rear ends in the world. So right off the bat I love the concept. But the question remains: does the Brazil Butt Lift workout program actually work?

Leandro Carvalho (aka the "Brazilian Butt Master") is a well-known personal trainer in South America and he's the one who put this new program together. He claims to know the best proven way to "reduce, shape, and lift your behind". Several well-known lingerie and bikini models have used Carvalho's services so we assume that he knows something about what he's talking about. In case you don't know, bikini modeling is a HUGE industry in Brazil and the models absolutely have to look "perfect" by the Brazilian standard. So lots of intense exercise -- and, in most cases, a very good amount of plastic surgery -- is a must for these ladies.

The Brazil Butt Lift DVD program promises to get your booty into "runway shape" so that you too can have the same kind of sexy derriere that looks incredible in a bathing suit, tight shorts, or even just a well-fitting pair of jeans. According to Carvalho the secret is his "TriAngle Training" method that efficiently exercises all the muscles of the buttocks from several different angles. He promises that it's a super-effective way to lift and shape your butt while trimming and tightening you hips and thighs... and even melting away stubborn thigh and belly fat.

The program is based around Brazilian dancing (samba anyone?), special types of cardio training, and a few lower-body "sculpting" exercises. Beach Body claims that it will work for any butt type... but that's extremely hard to believe since the shape of your butt (like the rest of your body) is very dependent on your personal genetics. That's where the plastic surgery mentioned above comes in and it's why you should keep in mind that even the sexiest Brazilian bodies have often been enhanced with more than just natural exercise and diet!

We hope to get some good customer reviews in the near future and possibly even an "expert evaluation" from one or two of our contributors. And please remember to leave your own opinions, questions, comments, etc. below!

(By the way, just to clear up any confusion, a real Brazilian "butt lift" is a buttock "enhancement" procedure that involves transferring fat cells from one part of your body -- such as the stomach or hips -- and injecting them into your buttocks. Liposuction is often used to improve the contouring around the butt area. Many plastic surgeons consider this to be the best "natural" way to improve the appearance of your rear end... along with exercise of course!)

I am currently on my second day of the workout and it does work. Although I have not been able to tell much of a difference yet, it is only my second day, I can feel a difference. Everything is starting to tighten up and my thighs are getting a lot stronger. Good luck to everyone else! I will keep posting more comments as I progress through the workouts!

So, I have been seeing this product and I am hesitant because of my body shape. I am thin, not toned or anything just naturally thin, and top heavy. I have no real butt. I have always been self concious about it because I look so disproportionate. Does this workout acutally make it look like you have a butt? Has anyone with a similar body type used this product for the same reason? I really don't want to use this system and it gets rid of the slight butt that I do have.

I love brazilian butt lift! Ive been doing it for about 2 wks now and after every workout, my legs/butt are sore! I know its working. MY stomach feels tighter as well. I used to do p90x, but p90x is not really for weight loss, i would say BBL is aimed more twds losing weight/getting in shape, bc there is sooo much cardio in the videos!

I have been using the Brazil Butt Lift for about 2 weeks; I am on "Friday, Week 2", and I am excited about the results that I have seen so far. The first day I was literally crying because my "bum bum" worked in a way that I had never felt while working out, but I was also very happy because I knew that I found a gem.

He has one exercise called the clam shell, that is killer!!Ouch! I cant wait until week 4 of my plan to see the final results...

I do not work for Beach Body, nor have I been paid for this comment. This is my second workout from the company (tried Insanity in the past). I am just a stay at home mother of 4, that kind of let herself go...If you have about an hour a day, GO FOR IT!!

Only thing I would suggest is to stretch before the workout, Leandro goes right into the workout, and then stretches after. I find that I hurt less when I stretch before I begin each workout.

so i bought this program about a year ago i should say, and i use it but gave up on it due to me out of shape and the intense workouts. this december of 2011 i decided to give it another try b/c, really, looking at the infomercial all the time gets me depressed and wishing and just watching it isnt gnna do anything for ya! so i started again, and i tell ya i felt the burn!! lol, after a a month and a half on it, i see results, slowly, but i seem them! my butt did lift a little higher, and i see my tummy getting a little flatter. the videos target not just your butt, but your abs, arms, basically all u got. so i say try it, it doesnt hurt to try, the results are based on your effort too. but like i said it doesnt hurt to try, your moving, and having fun, and u feel the burn! ;)

I just finished my second week on this program. So far I have lost two inches on my stomach, one on my hips, one around my waist, one on each of my arms and a half inch on each of my thighs! And I'm not even following the diet guide, I'm just trying to eat a little smarter. So far I am LOVING this routine, even though it's tough, and I can't wait to see my final result!

For two days I have been back and forth on ordering these cds. I own P90X which is amazing, but isnt really a womans problem area workout. I have a hard time toneing down my thighs and espc my butt. I lost 40lbs on my own in the gym, but gain 15, sooo.... I wanna loose that and ten more, focusing on my problem ares. Reading these reviews have convinced me to order. I hope this works. Thanks all

I got the set in the mail earlier this morning (yes just received it) I am in my mid 30's and haven't worked out in about 8 months, so figured this might be fun (Since childhood, I have been an athletic person). I have never been one to follow all of the "extras" that come with workout stuff, but will give this a try. The first step was trying to determine my butt shape...so I pulled out the camera, set it on the bathroom counter and got a pic of my butt from the back, the side and the front. These pics will be my motivation! It is now 3:57pm and I just managed to complete the first "Bum Bum" section. This was NOT easy and definitely NOT a beginner type workout, however I do feel a little bit of accomplishment as I know with time, I will be able to keep up. The pace is quick...we shall see in the weeks to come

I just did the workout this morning, because I was starting in the middle of the week I picked the Thursday DVDs which call for 2 different workouts, I did them both. The first one was a dance combo and I loved it, I was sweating and feeling the burn in no time. the second DVD was the firming, that one is tough, I didn't use the resistance bands yet and I am glad I didn't I could feel the burn in a few mins. Great workout, I plan to follow the calander for a month and see what happens. I worked out at 6:00am this morning and its amost 2:00pm now and I am starting to feel it in my abs already, probably will be sore because it targeted areas I haven't moved in awhile, but thats procress!

How much of the 3 DVDs are lunges and squats? Would ordering it still be useful even if I don't do the lunges and squats? I have issues with a sliding kneecap and I find doing lunges or squats just cause knee sharp pain and doesn't work my quads or rear.

My mom accused me years ago of having a "flat butt"....

Thanks!

My roommate and I just ordered the DVD's today. I have worked out at the gym all through my 20's and I just turned 30. It has only been in the past year that my butt has become flat, dimpled, with a nice fat pocket under each cheek that makes me super self concious. I really hope the workout works because I feel like I might have this icky looking ass forever. I don't really need to lose any weight, although it wouldn't hurt. My main goal is just to lift what used to be sitting about 2 inches higher. I will post a comment after my roomie and I do our first workout! soooo excited!!! :D

I just purchased Brazilian butt lift work out and can't wait to get it. I am a petite girl with a large booty, so I am excited to see what this workout can do. I am a little scared thoiugh after reading the reviews on hear and seeing ohw tough it was for some people. i am not one to work out, I always start and don't finish but I really want to stick with this. Also to the negative comments people had on here especially to the one that said beach body products don't work can ijust say thats total BS. My husband has Shaun T's insantiy and Asylum and he lost 40 lbs. He is n the best shape of his life thanks to those workouts and eating correctly.

I just got done with my first day, and i do have to say the bum bum DVD is one of the most difficult work outs i've ever done. Mainly because it is so fast paced, they don't go into much detail about how to do each exercise, and the transitions are VERY fast, i found that by the time i was barely getting down one exercise, he was already moving on to the next, i had to pause it multiple times just to "practice" some of the moves. I got about 10 minutes in without stopping, and had to pause because i was so out of breath and drenched in sweat, so obviously it works! This is definitely not for people out of shape, or ones unfamiliar with fast paced, high-intensity cardio. I am a 23 year old female, 5'2, 120 lbs, so i am not in bad shape, i am not looking to lose weight, just want to tone my body. I regularly go to the gym, usually 4-5 times a week, just focusing cardio, and even this was very difficult for me. I also found a lot of the work-outs it is hard to keep balanced, they involve a lot of standing on one leg, and dance co-ordination, something i haven't done in years!

Most of the people saying how great it is and how it isn't that hard, have also used other intense programs like P90x and insanity, but this is my first work out DVD experience and i did not think it would be this difficult! But i am not going to give up, i will keep trying my best to keep up with the exercises, maybe they will become easier as the weeks progress.

I would not recommend this to people that are just looking to loose weight, or overweight, or not very flexible, if you are already mildly in shape, it will still kick your ass..literally.

I am just worried that if i can't keep up with the DVDs or doing some of the excersices wrong, or not to their "full extent" that i will not see results? has anyone else had a difficult time keeping up, and would you be willing to share the results you have seen by just "trying your best"?

I am only on my first week and let me tell you... I LOVE IT!

I tried the P90X, it was a good work out... but BBL is more my style of workout.

The instructor makes is so much fun to work out. While dancing the first time, it makes you laugh and have fun. Keeps it moving and it goes by so quickly!!

I can already tell a difference. My legs have already started to slim.

It will work. You just have to do it. Don't just go through the motions. Like he says, get sexy. Shake your butt and sweat it out!

Very happy with my purchase. Also, it wasn't that expensive. On beachbody.com they had it three payments for $19.99.

Good luck!

Just wondering how a 50+ would last in this series? Have managed to last a month on Insanity and have done Turbo Jam but reading how 30 minutes of this is killer I am skeptical....

For those who say that most of the reviews are written by company Rep’s, I agree with you to some degree (especially on Amazon). However, since I myself have purchased the DVD's and have been doing the BBL for 5 days now I can tell you that most of the reviews on here are authentic.

PERSONAL INFO:
African American Female
28 yrs old
5’2
162 lbs
Pear Shape Workout- I’m more of an hour glass; my weight is all below the belt. I’m smaller in the waist (the only thing big up top is my breast (34 DD)) and I carry all my weight in my bottom half (I have a big butt, large thighs, hips and calves). I generally wear a size 8 in most clothes, sometimes a 10 if I need to get my butt in it (I get 90% of my clothes altered).

MY REVEIW (Workout DVD)

BOOTY BASICS- This basically shows you how to do the moves for Bum Bum and I think
Cardio Axe. However, make sure you switch sides because she only works one side; I did a count of four on each side (you'll end up doing more on one side but that's okay). BUM BUM- This is harder and more intense then the cardio axe; this is like cardio on crack. If you are out of shape you will have to ease into Bum Bum. I wouldn't say I'm in horrible shape but I had to stop 15 minutes in to Bum Bum and take a break. This is my personal opinion but this is the hardest DVD; it's like all the DVD's combined into this one. You will be drenched in sweat at the end of it.
HIGH & TIGHT- All I can say is good luck. This directly targets your butt and thighs and it hurts like h*ll. I couldn't believe it but I was actually sweating after doing this work out. FYI, you will need leg weights and a yoga mat.
CARDIO AXE- This one is actually my favorite because it's more like dancing. If you don't have rhythm (if you can't dance) this will be difficult to do. The trick with this DVD is the harder you do the moves the more it works you out. I try and do each move extremely hard; I'm not dripping in sweat on this DVD like I do when I do Bum Bum but I do work up a really good sweat.
TUMMY TUCK- Some of the moves require really strong abs (which I don't have at the moment) so I normally modify them or do a less difficult move. I was honestly surprised when my stomach hurt the next day; my abs have never hurt after working them (I probably have been doing AB workouts wrong all these years, LOL). My advice on this DVD is just do what you can and modify or do a less difficult move whenever they do a move that's too advanced; eventually you'll get there.
SCULPT- I don't start this DVD until next week but I’ll keep you posted.

MY REVIEW (6 Day Slim Down)
Let me start off by saying I am a bread and Potatoes kind of girl. I don't really care much for meat but I love vegetables, bread and potatoes. My probably has never been that I eat too much, (to be honest I don't eat that much to begin with) my probably is the type of food eat. I normally don't eat 3 meals a day; h*ll I’ll be lucky if I eat two, so the 6 day diet plan was really hard for me. First I don't eat a lot of things on the plan like eggs, cottage cheese, grape fruit, etc. Second, it’s hard for me to eat that many times in a day; I normally eat when I'm hunger and that's normally only twice a day. However, I did try and stick close to the plan by eating five times a day and eating similar foods listed on the plan.

CON's
1. I've gained 2 pounds and my jeans are a bit tighter since starting the DVD's. It’s probably just muscle but I'm thinking I'll have to add 3 days of jogging (which I’m not looking forward to) so that I can lose some of the fat; I don’t want muscle to build on top of fat. (I know muscle weighs more than fat and it’s not about weight lost but inches lost, but what can I say I'm vain and I'm only going to be happy when the scale goes down, LOL).
2. Bum Bum...enough said, LOL.

So I have a question... I want to order BBL because I have a very small butt... I want to gain a Butt I guess. Does anyone know if it works to gain a butt?

Anonymous said...

I just got my purchased DVD’s this thursday and immediately went to work. I realized that a lot of people go for this to slim down and get a butt... let’s just say I am a walking plank. I was skeptic because I feel it is easier for thicker women to get a better body and that getting a booty being scrawny is highly impossible, but I took my chance anyway. I have created a blog with my progress. It will include my daily workout routine/breaks, brief comments on my eating habits, pictures, and best of all, I encourage everyone else to submit their questions, success stories, progress, etc as well through my “TeamWork” link. Feel free to follow me, or just wait for my update in 27 days! http://thepenciltest.tumblr.com/

I started doing the insanity workout and it does work. My friend has done it and got great results. Those of you who thinks its a scam or people doing flase advertisement i have to say your wrong. I can't wait to start this brazilian work out cause i believe if insanity works than this will work. these workouts may be hard but stick with them and you'll get the hang of it..like they say "pace yourself" they dont expect you to be in great shape like them.

I am not a Beachbody representative, nor have I ordered BBL (still thinking about it). However, I have used Turbo Jam from Beachbody. I followed the program exactly. The only other exercise I did was walking. After 6 months I dropped 40lbs and went from a size 16 to a 4. They are real workouts that will work. Period.

I ordered my dvds yesterday and cant wait for them to get here. I see many good reviews and some bad reviews, but honesty I am in the army and just need to tone back up because I stopped working out after training. Anyway, all workouts that work are going to be hard. To see results you must keep doing them. Trust me. I went into the army out of shape and everything, but after two weeks of working out every morning(and eating right) your body will see results. I will update my results when I receive my dvds.

Someone said muscle weighs more than fat? Really? If u have a lb of muscle and a lb of fat how will one weigh more than the other? The correct answer is fat takes up more space than muscle making u look heavier. I will be having my baby soon and will def be purchasing these videos!

Can someone tell me, of the ladies who kept this exercise program, how much did you pay in total after the two total payments?

Thanks

This is my REAL review on BBL! I did the Brazil Butt Lift for 2 months before going on a beach vacation and I got AWESOME results! This workout is extremely tough in the beginning. The instructor is not easy to follow or keep up with but if you stick it out and work hard you WILL get results. I took before and after pictures so I could see my hard work pay off and the pictures only inspired me to keep going! I started off at 140 and made it down to 130 in those 2 months by doing BBL. I lost weight all over- my legs, stomach, back, butt.. even arms. I could feel the muscle in my butt and it was raised and tighter. I cannot recommend it enough! Don't think it's easy- you have to work hard for it but the results are phenomenal. Take your own before pics so you can see how different you look afterwards!

I just finished my second week of the bbl and have to say I really am enjoying these workouts.. ve tried insanity and the p90x and ended up sending them back by now but I really think I will be keeping this one its great for me because im just trying to tone up not lose weight and I can definately feel it working I hate cardio andi am a smoker unfortunately so its nice tjat the cardio workouts arent ridiculously long and exhausting like.insanity. Though I havent seen any crazy results yet i feel pretty confident that I will in the near future. Def recomend this workout to anyone

My husband bought this for me and I just did day one yesterday. I didn't get throught 15 min of bum bum before I could do no more. I am so sore today that I think I am going to wait until tommorow to try again. I am way out of shape 147lbs at 5'2". They do target all the butt/thigh muscles because I can feel everyone of them tormenting me right now.

i hope this helps whomever.. for people that say beach body product suck and the person that commented about how most of these comments (90% or more) whether it be true or not, this one is very real..

never tried bbl.. but i have done p90x. im an actual person. i am 28 from texas and im so upset with myself bcz i gave up my p90x to a friend.. after 2 weeks of the work outs.. no the first week.. i couldnt even make it past 10 min. but could after the second week.. and omg i loved it bcs and it wasnt weight that i was seeing drop, it was my body.. i was seeing my muscles that i havent seen in years. i will be getting the bbl and this time NOT letting go.. they will just have to either work out with me or get their own!! yet everyone i know that has tried p90x knows it will kick your butt into gear and you will see results, just have to have a healthy eating and just remember.. if your not feeding your muscles, you will never have any..

hey guys! ive been doing bbl for 3 days now n love it so far! my only concern is i don't want to lose my butt! im 5'5" about 128lbs and i have a big butt. i got the tapes because i wanna lift it a little and get rid of saddle bags and tone all over. im thinking if i do the tapes, and do squats and other butt workouts using heavy weight ill be able to lose weight all over, tone, and still build muscle in the butt area so that i dont lose the curves. what do u guys think!? will this work or will i end up with a flat booty!?

I'm a college student, and I didn't gain the "freshman 15." Instead, I gained it my sophomore/junior year - mostly in the love-handle/butt area. I have to say, I have been very unhappy with my appearance lately, and I would really LOVE to loose my "love"-handles! Last night, I saw the commercial for BBL. I waited to see the price, and I cannot afford the TV offer. I have been shopping around online today to see if I could find a better deal, and hopefully I will. I do not get the opportunity to go to the gym on campus much, so after reading the reviews, I'm sure it will be hard for me to keep up with the DVD. Also, my love-handles are my main focus, so I wanted to know if it will help that area too. Does anyone know where to get a cheaper deal, and do you think it will be too hard for me to even keep up and get anything out of it?

I just ordered these dvds. I'm looking forward to doing them! I have about 20 lbs to lose and want a challenge! I have been doing 40-60 minutes a day on my elliptical for the past week and that's great but I know it won't give me the definition I want, plus I have a booty now and don't want to lose it completely.. Lol. I will check back in about a month!

okay, so does anyone out there wonder like i do if this actually BUILDS you up more, because i own insanity and lemme tell ya after 60 days on that i gained about 6-8 pounds of muscle and couldnt fit into my jeans any longer. granted i was tighter everywhere but also BIGGER everywhere and was eating way less than normal and healthy as well. so these things concern me as a person that just wants to tone and slim my butt and thighs and not BUILD them. any suggestions on wether or not i should try this workout?? or has anybody else experienced those same symptoms with beachbody workouts?

I am a 30 year old mom. I just had my second baby 7 weeks ago. I have had 2 babies in two years. Before my children I was very athletic. After having 2 children and 2 c-sections my body has gone through tremendous challenges. Regaining your previous shape is nearly impossible after giving birth surgically (not by choice). I have struggled and let me tell you I am not a person who buys workout DVD's at all. I go to the gym and I have two babies. But I decided to try it and I can tell you that I love it. It's very difficult/challenging but in the end after being an athlete this isn't something that can't be done and it will bring you results as long as you stick with it. I'm not saying your going to have a most beautiful super model tush in 2 weeks or 2 months. It will provide you with more muscle mass and better definition for sure. I'm going to keep at it. I'm unbiased. I need to workout and it's fun so why not?

i am on week 3 of bbl..i love it love it love it! im 24 yrs old,5'9 and 155 pounds * i lost 5 pounds * :) and my ideal weight was 145 when i was 18-24. before starting the workouts, i couldn't bare taking a pic of my butt to have as a before pic..all i do now is take pix and adore my butt...its amazing how much my hips and tights have changed..my cellulite has also decreased immensely. i look forward to working out everyday (except the rest days)! i started the workouts 3 weeks ago when my bf left for china for work and i needed something to keep my mind off him being away, he'll be back in a week and i can't wait to surprise him ;)

I have used this for a few months. I think of it as the choreographed ladies version of p90x. It's a tough workout, but don't let that stop you. Go at your own pace and you will learn to love it. I had to set my goals small, like completing a third of each video. But after 2 months, I can do the whole thing. Now my goal is to do them full out like the fitness models on his videos do it. I have seen a lot of change in my butt and thighs, but also the rest of my body. I highly recommend the brazil butt lift.

Ok I just turned 42 and am a mom of 4 kids ages 20,17,14,10. I have been working out my whole adult life and have tried pretty much everything. I just got this so I have only finished day 2 and this is by far one of the hardest workout I have EVER done. (Maybe it is my age) The bum bum is brutal! I could not even finish it. I actually had to stop at about 14 minutes left and could barley do anything else all night. Not only were my legs giving out, so was my heart :) I am not looking forward to that dvd again tomorrow. So far I have done the basic, bum bum, high and tight and cardio axe. To be honest I perfer Zumba by far over the cardio axe. I think Zumba is tougher cardio and has better music and dancers. The dancers in the cardio axe look embarassed (kinda like I feel when dancing) I have no doubt this will work, but it is HARD WORK and you will work your butt off for it!!! I will post again when I am done with one month...(If I can live through it :)

I am in my second week and when I started the first day I also had to stopped by the first 15 mins, have some air and then returned, I am a dancer and I had 15 extra ponds around my belly, my inner tights are flubby and I need to tone my arms again, I just been so overwelmed with work for the last year that I haven't had time to really work out the way i should. I decided to try this Brazilian butt lift because i saw it on tv and somehow it catched my attention, I think the way they pressented it seems to be fun. So during my first week I did what I could, because I didn't have much resistant, the cardio excerses were fun but I though "men! why do all those girls looks so happy, this is so intense!" anyway I keep trying and doing what i could, next morning after my first day I felt so sore... I couldn't believe it. I continue doing it and I notice that by the end of the first week I develop resistance so I'm now in my second week and even that i'm still not able to follow everything, my arms don't carry all my weight yet, my balance sometimes is not good and a lot of excersices are very difficult (for a person who never does cardio and hates work out)I'm going to keep on going, I had done other dvd's in the past that had many of the butt excersices and a few of the strengh ones and I know I may no see any difference now, but in like three or four weeks results will start showing, excersice is like when you eat a lot of junk, the first days or two weeks that you eat all that you don't see any increment on your weight but after a month everything you ate or drink will show in your body, so I will not get discourage and continue minimun to the end of the six weeks program, that's when they promised I will see results and then I will write another review. But yes, i'm sore in a different part of my body every day, I sweat and i the best thing, I'm gaining more energy. i wonder if I'm strong enough to follow even the dietary program I will get better results, maybe next week when my schedule is not this crazy. But also, something that I have to say, no matter what, I'm trying to accomplish the whole thing for the week, if I don't complete one seccion in the morning I try to finish it at night or next day, my theory is: is I do the amount of work in the week, will it count the same as if I did it how they schedule? day by day? i just don't always have all the time required.

I have been using the DVD's for about 3 weeks now and it's amazing! I workout about 5 days a week for an hour each time and was worried about the short duration of the workouts. The Cardio Axe is so much fun, and I sweat like crazy. Some of the workouts leave my muscles exhausted, and I can feel the tightening. These really work, and Leandro is too cute!

Thanks for all the reviews......saw the infomercial and wanted REAL reviews....I have to say I have Turbojam and LOVE it ....it really works if you incorporate turbojam with turbo scuplt I am 5'4" and 100 lbs. now and was never able to force myself to work out until this dvd...beach body products are for real as far as I'm concerned and I am going to purchase this now.

I have been using Brazil Butt Lift for 5 months, and it has DEFINITELY firmed, shaped and lifted my butt! I love the workouts, though difficult at first, there are modified versions for beginners, and still- after 5months of doing the videos 4-6 times per week, I still feel sore as heck in the butt, hips and thighs the next day. But I do wish there was a way for me to kick it up a notch! I am 32 yrs old, 5ft 4in, (was 128 lbs when I started,) now I'm at 114.lbs. But I would still like to lose an additional few pounds, maybe make it to a 105-108lbs. And I just don't think these vids provide enough cardio for me to lose the last few lbs! I mean, my stuff is firm as heck and my belly totally flat, , but I still can "pinch an inch" on my thighs...which I'd be WAY more comfortable if I did have these last couple pounds on me.! I hardly eat at all (maybe twice a day, not more than 1200 cals total), I am dedicated in my exercise, so why can't I lose these last few pounds? And my way to kick up th intensity of the Brazil Butt Lift workouts?? I love Lehandro and he vids are so fun, but still , I think I need more . Suggestions?

Yesterday was day one for me and based on my plan, I had to do the bum bum and the tummy tuck dvds. WOW! I only got about 20 minutes into the bum bum dvd before I had to call it quits. The tummy tuck dvd is much easier to get through. I am going to keep following the dvds assigned to each day and hopefully my persistence will pay off and I'll be able to get through the entire dvd. My legs and abs are so sore today which tells me it's working. I am going to Hawaii in 3 months and this is my motivation. I will post my results as I go.

soo im 23 and abt 230 , im super out of shape , istarted the first tape yday , after the intro video , iwas like O_O lol ! these tapes are definitely not a game , icould only do like the first 5 mins before being hella outta breath , ifeel like the advertisements should warn you , like iknew/know working out is hard work but this is a high level workout , not tailored for a begginers level .
THAT BEING SAID ;
ihavent even finished an entire workout yet but iswear ican already feel a tightness in my legs thighs and butt ! im going to keep at this because ican feel myself getting stronger !

Anonymous said...

I just ordered this progam. I like many others saw the advertisement. I am a mother of five and am a "workout at home" type of person. I do not have time for gyms. I have not yet received my package. I'm excited to get started. Also I will post a review in a few weeks. Does it work? I will let you know how it is working for me. The thing we al have to remember is, everyones body is diffrent. No two people have the same body shape. THat's what makes us unique. That said, we can all do our best to get in and keep ourselves in shape and healthy.

I just had a baby and lost my butt completely! I am pretty skinny so I don't want to lose weight, I just want to get my butt back! Will this workout help me?

My mother bought this Dvd and she has let me barrow it and ive just been letting it sit,.I'm so scared to try it out and it not work. I'm 5'5 180 pounds I have a big bust and a big buttie, shaped like an hour glass but my main areas are stomach, butt, and thighs.
After watching the first Dvd and trying it out, I WAS SHOCKED OF HOW IT WORKED MY MUSCLES!!! I was sore all over and I never felt better. I really believe this will work. Now I have to fallow the eating guide and all will be well. :)
Thank you for giving everyone the chance to get excited to lose wieght, you have changed my life forever.
and because of you I am now eligible to join the airforce :)

I did my first workout last night. I am following the provided weekly routine and it kicked my a**! It's difficult but it's very satifying after you complete it to know you gave it your all even when it was hard to. My bum bum is going to be round and lifted in no time! Definitely worth every penny!! I am truly excited, pumped, and ready to do it again tonight!

I just ordered the BBL. A little skeptical now that I have read these reviews because I don't work out often and from what everyone is saying this is not for beginners. But I'm persistent and connotes to getting my now 30 year old body to a point that does not make me cringe when I buy a new outfit. I will do it for 60 days and ha k to u guys with an update positive or negative.

I would like to know if anybody with more than 20 or 30 lbs. to lose has tried this program and if so did it work for them? The commercials never show before and after pics of people of a larger size.

Anonymous said...

i just boght the BBL looking to tighten and plump up my flat butt, im excited to get started on it. i was referred to this by a friend who has already done it and she loves it she said her flat butt went to being toned and tighten and her hubby could bounce quarters off..but i have done P90x and that seriuosly kicks but and ur sore for several days. i am some what already in shape due to army pt standards so i dont want to loose weight i just want a better lower half especially after having a two yr old and a three month old. im 5'6 and 120lbs,

but for the people that say these reviews are fake and the one individual the these workouts dont work...if they didnt work then why would alot of military instructors and individuals use these products? please answer me that...
any cardio and using ur own body strength will give u reults and doing different workouts each time ur body wont get used to the same ol routine, which u will get better results.

I just ordered this workout, I'm a guy and just like anyone else, I want a nice looking rear end haha. It is getting here in the next few days hopefully, I'm really excited to try, cause the past few years after losing all of the weight I have, I've never been able to target my butt, EVER. so...I'm just really excited and hoping it works :)

And if anyone is wondering, Brazil butt lift isn't JUST for women, alot of men have tried it and hand amazing results.

Don't judge lol. Lol

My mom had bought the BBL about 3 weeks ago, I decided to workout with her since I just started college im not walking around like I used to when I was in highschool, im still "in shape" just decided to tone up a bit. This is a Excellent workout, me and my mom Both saw results within two weeks. You will be sore after the first two or three workouts but it will go away. I love the BBL workouts, strangely addictive - in a good way ! Goodluck (:

I just ordered the dvd and have been doing the workouts for a week. I have worked out for years and taken lots of classes at the gym. These dvd's are really intense. I told myself I would do the dvd's for a month according to the schedule and see how my body is. The only other thing i could see myself adding is some running on the tredmill or at a track. This dvd is kick ass. I still dont know if this dvd will get my legs toned the way i want. we shall see. I will post again in another week.

I am 27 5 ft 4 in 122 pounds. I am a mother of 3 with my youngest being 4 months old. My body did very well after my first 2 kids in going back to my normal shape, but is doing the opposite with my third. I started bbl 7 days ago. I've already lost 1 inch from my waste and and half an inch from each thigh. I've also already passed the pencil test! I am very excited to see even more results in the upcoming weeks. For anyone considering this product I definitely recommend it. I am very skeptical about these types of products, but after reading this page I ordered it. So thanks everyone. :)

I have been using the Brazil Butt Lift program for about a week now and have to say that it's quite difficult! I'm already in pretty good shape (or so I thought), doing yoga and pilates regularly. I definitely think that people who are looking to lose serious weight should avoid this! Also, I was pretty shocked when I looked at the program and saw that it required 6 days of working out per week (sometimes for as long as an hour)!!! Even after the 4 grueling weeks of butt anguish I must endure to obtain the touche of my dreams, I'm expected to continue this 6 workouts a week madness!??? I'm waking up extra early before work just to find the time to put a butt workout in. Yikes what have I gotten myself into!? Sure it works, I can tell from the pain my ass is in right now, but who has that kind of time on their hands??? I just don't think it's a realistic program in terms of time and expectations. Is it fun and entertaining?! YES! Maybe after the 4 weeks I'll simply incorporate it into my other workouts to liven things up, but none of this 6 workouts a week nonsense lol!

I ordered the brazil butt lift and im currently on week 2 of the workout. I thought "how hard could this be". The first day was def intense and literally put me on my a** lol but as you continue the workout amd do the moves accuratley you will begin to feel better and notice a difference. It is noy easy at all but of you really want it, you have to work for it. I dont know how anyone can say this doesnt work. If you actually do the workouts correctly and efficiently you have nothing to lose except weight and inches! Trust me you will sweat it out...if your not used to working out or give up to easily this isnt for you. Im satisfied amd it does work. People dont get nice butts and flat abs from doin nothing... You have to WORK !

My BBL will arrive today ! I am so glad that I found this website with all these reviews !! I needed to read this from non-celebrities !!! Let's see how it goes for me !!!

Anonymous said...

First off, to the reviewer who said they were a Beach Body coach and that the entire company is just a very forceful marketing scheme that keeps trying to make you buy more--- DUH!!! Usually any product that is marketed through an infomercial, internet, and in the mail is going to be shoved down your throats even after you buy. Even as that is annoying for sure, it doesn't mean anything if you like the workout. I agree its way overpriced and I've very happy that I did not buy it but instead got to borrow it, for free, from a friend.

Anywho, with that said, I literally just did Bum Bum for the first time. I had to stop the video and drink water after 10 and stop it completely after about 19 minutes. My thighs were BURNING and at one point you jump and when I came down they felt like they were going to give out aka complete jello. Now, I'm in no good shape by any means but I am a healthy 22 year old and it is INTENSE. (See more below about my level of "fitness")

I'm slim and lately I've seen my body losing muscle and getting a small but "grab-able" layer of fat over my butt, legs, and back area. I want to lose really only that fat and tone up and I think that this may actually work.

After doing 1/2 of Bum Bum and basically not continuing because I didn't want to hurt myself (haha) I'm excited and also kindof scared. Most days you combine bum bum with another which I can already tell will be borderline crazy BUT i actually feel like it will work.

A plus as well is that the guy is super goofy and funny to watch, not really motivating but the fact that I find myself kindof laughing at the things he says keeps me interested. I think I'm also going to try to put in a few p90x workouts (def the yoga x) into my schedule as well.

Now I just need to finalize my nutrition plan (I'm going to do a modified p90x plan with less calories cause i'm small already) and see how it goes!

(FYI I'm 22, 113 pounds, 5'4" and do not regularly exercise but can get through an hour long spin class and yoga classes (I also have a desk job all day ughh). And lately I've really been trying to eat healthy as well. )

I got this program like 2 months ago. I'll admit, that I do get lazy sometimes, like maybe twice every 2 weeks, but that's only because I have a lot of schoolwork. I'm 14, and I know I may seem really young for this, it's like I've struggled with weight my whole life. All my friends are skinny, and I have been depressed from this before. I can be really ashamed of myself, for looking the way I am. Sometimes, I spend an hour picking out clothes, so I don't have to feel self-conscious all day, even though I know I will. I'm really short, and I weigh like 140. I may not look like it, but I am. I really hate being pressured and I have tried almost anything. I think that I see some results, but I'm not sure. Please tell me if there's anything I can do to clear my schedule, to make it better for my life.

I am obsessed with starting this program. I have been waiting to buy it until I could afford it, but finally got to order it yesterday! I had no doubt in my mind that it would work, I just love reading everyone's success stories. It gets me even more excited! I can't wait to be fit!!! =)

I'm 27...through high school and college I was a cheerleader and played softball. After college I became a cheerleading coach at Wabash Valley College and so I always assumed I was in "decent" shape. I started to notice my "bum" slowly descending toward my knees...so in a splurge thanks to late night TV I decided to try the BBL.. I've been doing it for 3 weeks and holy moly... I feel muscles in places I didn't think I had. Leonardo is adorable and as mad as I get (because of pure exhaustion) I have to just smile. Now granted my form still lacks in some of the exercises, but I can genuinely feel and see the results. My partner (huge skeptic) even noticed one night. That for me has been motivation enough to keep going! I will say that the routines are hard, but I just do as many reps as I can and then at the end say "whelp I did my best!" I really hope I have some killer results at the end of this...lord knows I'm trying'!

I have been doing the program for 6 weeks. It WORKS! I have shrunk my hips from 39 to 37.5 and waist from 27.5 to 26. I follow the program as close as possible to the recommended workouts (recommendation is usually 2different workouts 6 days a weeks) but end up doing one workout per day, since I am exhausted after just one of them. Cellulite is starting to diminish too. I am happy with the purchase! Clothes are fitting super nice now!

Thanks for the great comments. I saw the infomercial, was doubtful until I read all the comments on this blog and viewed some success videos on YouTube. There were very few negative comments and a lot of enthusiastic ones. U helped me decide to order BBL which should arrive by the time I finish Insanity. Insanity made me sweat n helped me tone up. I'm hoping that BBL will give me the same intensity. I'm 48, have about 25 pounds to lose. I do not work for BeachBody but just really believe in their products. I use caps etc. because I do a lot of typing for my job. Thanks for the motivation.

I too am very short and lazy by nature. I have had to work quite hard to get around that. I once read that you have to set an a steady appointment to work out. It could be early in the morning, right after school, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 whatever works for you. Start 3 times a week or every other day.most importantly find a workout you like. This will also help because your not dredding doing it. Do it for yourself no one else. I'm sure your a knockout!

Alright, I have to say that at least most of these reviews are real. I do not work for BB or any competitors. I am a shoe designer! I was doing the butt and legs class at Barry's Boot Camp here in LA, but they raised their prices, but I still wanted a good lower body workout that didn't cost me $24 each time.
I just got BBL and am on day 4! I felt a whole lotta soreness on my second day and still feel sore, but gotta keep going! I've always had strong legs, but I was surprised how much I was sweating during the workouts. The sculpting video was great! It hurt, but you gotta push yourself to do as much as you can and do your best.
I don't think you have to be young or in great shape to do this. As long as you're challenging yourself and pushing yourself. Maybe you can't get through a video without stopping for 2 or 3 minutes, but you'll get there as long as you're giving your best each time!!! Work your way up!
I'll try to update after about 2 weeks. Good luck!!! <3 <3 <3

I Will definitely keep you updated and let you know how it works. I have complete faith that you will be hearing positive results from me soon.

Goodluck everyone! :) Megan

Just completed (kinda) the second day. I am latin and thought I had rhythm - but not any more. Too much dancing in these DVD's. I loved pilates because it was more my pace. These are very fast workouts that just kill you. I only lasted 20 minutes on the first day and the second day about the same - way to many moves to remember. I'll keep trying but feeling very discouraged right now. I would prefer Denise Austin's work out DVD's.

Just finishing week 4. I still have to take breaks during bum bum. I am seeing a difference, but I think it will take another 2months before I expect to see the results I want. It is not a program for beginners. I tried the cardo axe once, I could not follow so I run or do the rio extreme(cost extra). Overall I am very pleased with the workouts and like leandro as an instructor, he is entertaining and I'm convinced he loves what he does. Also, everyone's body
is different and reacts differently to workouts. Give a program at least 3 months before u say it is not good. In reality it is only not good for the individual who is saying so. So.... For everyone working it out, keep going and stay committed. Dont give up!!!

Just did my first BBL workout. It kicked my butt! I had to pause the DVD to catch my breath, couldn't do all the moves because it hurt too much, and was nauseous afterwards... I call that a GREAT workout!!! I jog 3 miles 1-3 times a week and do weights 1-2 times a week, so I'm not a total novice. I can tell I'm going to be VERY sore tomorrow. I can't wait to start seeing results.

Ive been doing the program for about a week now and boy does my bum bum hurt. The workouts are fun and only 30mins about each so I dont mind doing them like i did for p90x which was 90mins etc. I havent measured or weighed yet. Im going to go two weeks before I do that. But I can def feel the workouts effecting my bum.

I'm on my last week of doing the BBL and it works. I noticed my butt lifting on the second week. I was not dieting at all. But now I am starting to diet it with for maximum results. I would definitely recommend this to friends who wants to perk up there butts. It doesn't aim towards the upper body much but I see a difference in my body! Its amazing cause I have been going to the gym and personal trainers trying to lose weight for the past 3 years and I do this at home for only 4 weeks and see results! GIVE IT A CHANCE its a good workout fun easy and it works

I'm a pear shape, with a bubble butt and wide hips and not to mention cellulite!!! I wanna be tighter..toner!!! I decided to try this brazil butt lift as a last resort to kick up my lower half workouts. HOLY MOLY these videos are intense! They are very fast and i had trouble keeping up most of the time. BUT they work, i couldn't move the first few days after attempting the BUM BUM video. I guess you have to keep at it and they will get easier and less painful :)

I have taken the Brazil Butt Lift Class at my gym taught by Leandro Carvalho and let me tell you it works!! You will feel the burn day one and results will yield in 3 months. This is definitely a worthwhile investment!! If I wasn't a student in his class I would have definitely purchased his DVD. If you want a tight booty like Shakira, Beyonce or JLO work out your booty with Brazilian Butt Lift DVD. It's definitely worth it.

I'm about to wrap up my first week of BBL, and I must say . . . I REALLY enjoy the workouts. Not only am I getting great workouts in, but I am also eating a lot healthier! I've already lost 4 lbs in 5 days. Even after Day 1, I was REALLY sore and could feel it.

To those who say BBL does not work - EHH! You guys may not be pushing hard enough. If you want results, you can't try it for a week, then come to a negative conclusion. Also, when working out, there's NO compromising. Ya gotta do each workout correctly and NOT rush through it. There's no such thing as a workout that doesn't work! Be serious, people.

I highly recommend Brazil Butt Lift!

I read that this workout should be pretty safe to do while pregnant!! But after reading some of the reviews here....it doesn't seem to safe!! So, is the BBL okay/safe to use during the 2nd trimester of pregnancy?? I really really wanna do this workout!! :-/

I don't want to lose any weight as it is always a fight to keep my weight on. I'm 120lbs. and have a very high metabolism. I want to tone up but will this video cause me to lose weight also?

Ive done some checking on these reviews. Some of them are fake. Amber, for example, from Feb 2012 also posted in March of 2010.

This product may well do what it says, but manufacturing reviews make it look like a scam.

i love to do this exersize

I just bought and I am excited!!! I will come back and let you all know the results in a about 2 1/2 weeks where I am at!!!

Help!!! My sister had purchased the BBL but only used it once. I borrowed it to see how it works before buying my own. I felt an amazing burn in places never targeted before in other workout dvd's so I'm excited to continue & checkout results. However, my niece got into the set & it is now missings the bands, the order of the dvd workout & couple other small items (I think). I don't want to over work myself if I'm not supposed to. Is there an order or am I supposed to do all 3 dvd's daily?

To Anonymous wanting to keep to 1200 calories,
The best thing to do is look at portion control, a good rule is a portion is about the size of your fist. Your can eat food thats good for you all day and still gain weight because to much of a good thing is a bad thing. Another good thing to get in habit of is 'grazing' or eating 5-6 small meals a day rather than 3 bigger ones. This can help keep you full and make 1200 calories not seem so little. One big mistake many people make with this concept though, is just eating 6 regular sized meals which only leads them to gain more weight. What I personally do to help me stay full all day is eat about a 400 calorie breakfast a 250 calorie lunch and a 250 calorie dinner with 2 150 calorie snacks one mid-morning and one mid-afternoon. To keep calories down you can reduce processed foods and breads and increase vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean meat like chicken and fish. One other thing to do is drink plenty of water. It not only helps remove toxins but can help keep you full and hydrated with zero calories! Lastly, don't starve yourself. If you are constantly hungry you wont stick with the 1200 calories so it maybe best to reevaluate whats best for you. Try splitting 1500 calories into the 5-6 meals and that may just make all the difference in keeping you full. Hope this helps, I'm not a nutritionist but I do know what works for me and whats sensible!

I've not been following the plan, but just doing the workouts in spare time, because I'm not looking to lose weight, but to tone up! Anyways I've had it for like 3 weeks and it is working very nicely :)The little amount of cellulite I had is now gone, and my butt is perkier and shapely. I DEFINITELY RECCOMEND THIS!!!

Anonymous said...

Can anyone say if weight loss can be mitigated? I need to firm, tone and I'd love to get my butt back up where it used to be, but I have a hard time keeping weight on. I know. Don't hate me. Being a stick is no fun either.

I bought this program about 3 weeks ago. I watched the videos a couple times but wasn't motivated enough to try it. Well today I did Booty Basics and half the Bum Bum video...hard to do. I am motivated to keep going, I want to see changes...lol. I am one of those lovely pears :)

I bought it about a year and a half ago, right after I had my daughter. It works, as long as you eat right and stick to it. I find myself doing it for a month (for my butt type) and then slacking off and coming back to do my butt type again. If you stick to it, you'll get results. I still get results, even doing it the messed up way I do it. It's fun though. My favorite disc is "High & Tight". :)

To gain weight, eat a lot of nuts. Make smoothies with sugar, whole milk, heavy cream, half and half, ice creams with lots of fat (high in calories). Eat ice cream, puddings and any dairy product made of whole milk.

Do you feel full quickly? If so, avoid eating foods that make most of us dieters stay on our diets (like low fat popped popcorn, oatmeal, shredded wheat, bran flakes, similar cereals)... When you eat vegetables, smother with butter, cream cheese, high fat cheese.

Eat out a lot and have everything with sauces.

Don't exercise every day for toning; exercise every 2 or 3 days.

So lots of full fat cheese, whole milk, nuts, chocolate, eating out, milkshakes... I would not stay away from fried foods but I would not eat them exclusively. Peanut butter is great for you.

Hello all. I purchased the BBL program a couple of years ago. Ive started and stopped 2 times and was only consisten for 3 weeks the first time and almost 4 weeks the second time. Each time I noticed great results. The key is consistency. If u stop for a few days.. the next thing u know weeks (and in my case months) have passed by. I just started my 3rd go-round 3 weeks ago and I plan to keep it up for at least 2 straight months. I am already seeing great results and I am able to keep up more and more each week. I am desperate to get and maintain a sexy Bum. Im 46 and not ready to stop looking good. Thats my motivation!

Anonymous said...

I started BBL about 2 weeks ago. I used I work out in college, but 10 years (and 2 babies) later, I've packed on some extra pounds. My first impression- The tapes are really hard, but not impossible. One day you won't be able to finish a set of leg lifts, the next day you will. This program has a very effective combination of legitimate exercises, and the workouts are definitely worthwhile to do. I thought this was mainly about the "bum bum," but there is a huge emphasis on the core and back (clever... This improves posture and reduces the risk of injury). So far I have started to lose a little weight, but I can feel the results now more than I can see them yet.

I have been doing the brazil butt lift workout for 5 weeks and I have to say it is the best thing I have ever done in my life! At first it seemed so hard, and it is still very challenging but everyday I find I am stronger. I can do more, go longer and it makes me feel amazing. I lost a total of 10 inches my first 30 days. I haven't seen any weight loss but I know by my measurements and the way my clothes fit something is definatly happening. I figure I am clearly building muscle and that must be why the scale hasn't seen a change yet. I would and have been telling everyone around me to check this out. The thing I really love is that I know I can keep building on my workout using the same dvds. On my rest day I find myself wanting to go up to my workout room and squeeze in a quick workout, it makes me feel that good. If you are considering trying this workout, go for it, follow the program and take your before measurements and pics, it will really help you see the your results. Enjoy

I'm 15, 5 ft. 2 in., and I weigh 131 pounds. I started the Brazilian Butt Lift a little over a week ago and I'm telling you, it works! I haven't weighed myself yet, but I don't think I've lost much weight yet but I definitely have built muscle all over my body and it's only been a week and a couple days since I started. I didn't follow the six day slim down my first week just because I kept forgetting, but I'm doing it this week. I can't wait until the 8 weeks are over so I can go to the pool and not feel embarrassed about myself. I'm telling you get the BBL, it does help. Before my parents got it for me, I read reviews and was really skeptical if it really worked or if these were real reviews and even after we received it, it sat in its box for a month until I finally decided I need to do something about my weight. I'm not going to lie, it is definitely challenging the first few days (I wanted to cry when I first did the Bum Bum workout ), but it gets much easier and I have fun doing all the workouts besides the Bum Bum because it's one of the hardest ones. Again, if you want to build muscle and lose weight, get the BBL!!!

I am very very out of shape. I'm 5'2 and 172lbs 22 years old. haven't really been working out at all. I got these DVDs digitally from an *ahem* alternative source just to try it out. it is soooo fucking hard. I'm not following the plan, but have done the bum bum video twice in one week. I haven't lost weight, but I notice a HUGE improvement already!

my hips, my lower back, the back of my thighs and my arms are already so much tighter, even though both time I haven't been able to complete the videos.

I am definitely going to purchase it now that I've tried it. its just so hard though. I don't think I can do it everyday.... yet. recommended for those already relatively in shape. otherwise, it might be very discouraging.

I started the DVDS last week and it WORKS!!! I've already lost 7 pounds in one week and Everything on my body seems slimmer and tighter already. Much more than the week before. He's great and funny to listen to! The killer DVD is the "bum bum" workout. It's insane but well worth it! I'm going onto my second week and look forward to what week 4 has to show me. Definitely a must if you want that beach body!

So i see all the reviews for loosing weight and reducing sizes, but what about if you're skinny and have a flat butt??? Does this workout help you get a rounder butt??

Jessica said...

I'm very thin, about 110 lbs and 5'5", but I unfortunately I have hereditary cellulite and found that my thighs and butt were getting jiggly, so I decided to try BBL. It's a great workout. The cardio blast is my favorite because it's really fun, but the actual program itself is very unrealistic. Who has time to do 2 separate workouts 6 days a week?! I did this workout for 2 1/2 weeks until I quit because I got sidetracked with other things. I honestly didn't notice much of a change in my butt or thighs, but my abs were looking great! So...it's a great workout, but not a miracle solution for butt fat. You'd have to stop eating before you see amazing results.

Well I just ordered the BBL workout and im not gonna lie I am fat. I am about 15lb overweight but I want to lose more then 15 I saw the commercial for it and it looked really interesting and that it might help me lose weight and inches. BUT after reading the reviews im kind of bummed because people are saying its not gonna work for overweight people who are beginners :/ idk Im still gonna try it but im now paranoid that I wont see the results I want. Also does the tummy tuck work well?

I've been using BBL on and off for 2 years now and recommend it to EVERYONE. Recently I have been distracted with other stuff and have gained +20 lbs. Dont ask how it happened but I'm not so proud. I'm 5' 2 and now weigh 135lbs this is the biggest I've been. And last time I did this work out I weighed 110lbs. The workout is hard. But shows its working. Surprisingly it works fast. And I too have done p90x but I keep coming back to This workout. Its the best and I doubt ill ever stop using it. Literally changed my appearance in less then a week. And will probably continue to do so in the future!!

It's because you are stronger. Muscle weighs more than fat! So that's actually a good thing believe it or not. :)

I am 44 years old and have been an avid runner for about 20 years. I run 60 miles a week so I am in excellent shape. However, I have always had small saddlebags so I thought I would give BBL a try. I am now in week 8 and have seen some improvement but nothing like most of the comments here. I never had a problem getting through any of the workouts but maybe because I already have extremely strong legs. I'm guessing my results aren't as quick because of my age, I don't need to lose weight and I am already in great shape. I do notice my butt muscles are tighter though. I would still recommend this workout and I will continue to incorporate it into my workout schedule.

I just finished 4 weeks on the Boom Boom workout (took one week off in middle for vacation so actually 5 weeks). It's a good workout, but not the miracle some people claim, at least for me. My boom boom had a pretty good round shape before, but I have had cellulite forever and am hoping to get rid of it. Not much change yet. Actually I feel this has toned my abs and legs more than my butt, but my butt does feel stronger. No real inches lost, just firming up. I haven't made any diet changes but am following the workouts 5-6 days/ week. I'm 52 and it's hard, but I'm gonna keep it up and see if I can reduce the cellulite over time. At least it won't get worse!

I left a comment above that I am doing the Boom Boom workout, but actually it's the full "pear" shaped workout on the BBL DVDs. Boom Boom plus Sculpt, Cardio, etc.

I'm a mother of two and I'm 32 years old. I've had 2 c/s and currently I work two jobs. I'm 5'7" and probably about 190-200lbs. Even though I'm clearly overweight, I'm mildly physically active and I have a muscular build underneath the tummy/butt fat I have gained over the last 7 years. I don't want to look like a model. I just want a workout that is fun and challenging, and that I can do at home, that will help me burn fat and tone. I also hoop dance, so I'm hoping to alternate between that and BBL once I finish the month. I started the workout today and while, yes, it was a challenge and I had to stop the DVD three times, it was fun! My sons were bopping long with me. And I like the guy on the DVD. I like how there are dance elements as well.

I am very skeptical of companies in general, so I am willing to bet that there are many fake reviews out there, but I'm going to try this program anyway. I just don't see the point in arguing about it, you know? I mean, if the program gets you up and moving and sweating, for a lady like me, that's great!

I will say that the 1200 calorie diet is dumb. Just eat healthily and be honest about what is healthy. I became a vegetarian in January and I have been streamlining my diet since then. Even if you eat meat, too much meat and starches is not good for you. Add more fruits and vegetables every day, and I mean that they should be the bulk of your meals. And eat light to heavy. Light breakfast when you feel hungry to heavy meals later in the day. And give yourself time to digest before going to bed at night. Drink plenty of water too. Forgo those diet drinks. I think a little common sense and some research will go a long way for me.

I'll try to post again when I have gotten farther in the program. But I'm just glad that I was turned off by the first day.

THINKING ABOUT GETTING BBL AND WAS WONDERING HOW MANY DAYS A WEEK TH WORK OUT IS

BrazilianBumBum said...

I don't know if people are still reading the comments, but since I found it, I'm going to guess other people might as well.

I am on my second day of BBL and the one thing they don't tell you, have a towel ready! You will sweat buckets, and I mean it, I was soaked with my first workout. They are intense, non-stop and if you have never done some yoga or pilates or dancing...GO SLOW! You will hurt and just like a poster said, don't hesitate to take a break in between.

As for the workouts themselves, for once, the infomercial was right, you WILL be hitting and working butt muscles you never knew existed. My butt was burning.

I'll update with some results later.

Oh and for those questioning my allegiance, I am NOT a rep, endorser or the man himself. Just a regular average Jane.

Good luck and happy bum-bum.

I ordered it and I am on day 3 so far. Before this program, I worked out for at least 30 minutes every day (running or cycling mainly). After the first day, I was SO sore! Today, I'm still pretty sore, but not as bad as yesterday. I'm obviously working muscles in my butt and legs that I wasn't hitting before. I really think it's going to work!

YoliLE said...

I am in my 5th week. I started with the two much butt program and now moving on to the classic program. I started with a round, plump, yet dimply rear at 50 1/2". My goal was to tone and firm so that it would shrink! I am working out with a recovering reconstructed ACL so performing the squats and lunges correctly is imperative to prevent injuries. I don't keep up with the pace of the workout always and I hit pause often to make sure I get all of the reps in...the beauty of DVDs! I think I have lost almost an inch back there...I am working with a lot to begin with so its hard to say for sure. The dimples are still there but they are slightly smoother. I see my cellulite on the back of my thighs are slightly less noticeable. I'm sure that it will be about six months before they will be virtually gone...just keeping it real! As a pear shape, I find I'm losing more in my abs (1.5 inches) and toner around my neck and jaw line. The scale jumps up and down like a roller coaster but I'm not stressed about it. I am 205 lbs now. I started at 210 lbs. I follow weight watchers right now but I have to admit...I'm always hungry! I will stick with this for 90 days, before I incorporate some more weight lifting into my program. I'm having a great time. Not bored yet!

I am 34 yrs old. 5'5" and 120 lbs meaning quite thin actually but just out of shape. I work everyday and sometimes weekends as well if I am on call so I do not have much time and I am generally tired which makes it hard to work out.
By time my body lost its tone (aging I guess, even if I do not have kids).
I have P90X and Brazilian butt. I did p90X maybe about a month but I think it is more of a muscle building work out, not for me ! However I have a friend who did it went down to size 2 from size 8 and then went back to size 8 when she stopped, as expected. P90X is extremely hard to sustain with a full time job!
Brazilian butt work out is not any easier but I find it more suitable for me. I is a cardio and toning work out involving whole body! A real whole body work out with so many squats and lounges. Except for 1 video none of them are actually dance moves. Because there is no break during the work out , your heart rate goes up and becomes a cardio work out.
I have a healthy diet habit so I did not change anything in my diet, eat the usual including burgers and chocolate (once a week , not everyday) and despite that you feel difference very fast. In 2 weeks my pants started to get loser!!
By the way if I can't catch my breath/ I am tired I pause and take a break. If I am very tired, I sometimes do half in the morning and half of it in the evening. At the end of the day I am trying to be fit , not a bikini model and I am very happy with the results.

I am trying to do a work out which is sustainable so I do not follow their schedule. If I am very busy and tired that week I only work out 3 days of the week then next week if my schedule is better then I do 5 days. Like I said despite all the modifications I did, it still works.

The most important thing for me is not necessarily to get fast results but to have sustainable results.

Brazil Butt Lift is the real deal. I am 19 years old and a very active person. I love to hike, bike, jog, and swim. I have been doing Turbo Jam for 6 months now and it helped me lose 20 pounds. I was looking for something that would help me lose the last 10 pounds and saw the informercial for BBL. I decided to order it after doing research and looking through hundreds of comments. WOW! It is a killer work out. Leaondro is an excellent trainer, if you listen to what he says you will avoid injury and even have fun! After the first few days I already felt tighter and more toned. Now after two weeks I can see the results. Can't wait until day 60 when I have a nice, tight bum bum!!!

However, I would not reccomend this to anyone who is new to exercise. It is a very tough workout that will push you to your limits. I would suggest doing something like Turbo Jam or Slim in 6 before trying this one. But if you do decide to jump onto the BBL train just remember that form is the most important thing. Good luck!

Hey! Im 18 years old, im exactly 5'0, i weigh 138 now (starting @ 141lbs.) my pants size is from 9-11, i do have to mention that i have a naturally big round booty. I have been using the BBL for exactly a week now, and OMG were the first 3 days a pain i was extremely sore but i sucked it up im looking foward to losing at least all my cellulite and the little tummy that i have. Im going to continue the program and ill try to post up my results after the 60 days. I know everybody wants to see real results from real people so ill do my best to keep up with every single workout and ill let you guys know how it went for me. I am a committed person so good luck to myself and everyone out there looking towards a great booty and body ;D

My mom and brother are also doing this and my brother already lost 6lbs just letting u know its somehow is helping them so hopefully it works for all of us. Unless you are extremely over weight i recomend you to find a healthy diet plan before any work out you do!

I've been using this tapes for two weeks, I'm 21 years old, 5'7" and 135 pounds.

So, I don't need to lose weight, I just want to be toned and tight. SO, if anyone out there is thinking of using these tapes to keep a toned body or have a healthy exercise regime, i totally suggest these tapes.

They are super fun, tough, and effective.

1. The trainer is a sweetheart and really easy to follow.
2. The girls in the video are so beautiful, it totally motivates me to keep going!
3. MOST IMPORTANT! I find this workout is different from the rest because it is target muscle training. SO, it's not aimed to keep you moving like crazy "High Cardio" to shed tons of pounds. Rather, it uses combos and exercises that really target a certain muscle (Or several) to tone and really feel the burn. Which is why i love it! Don't get me wrong, he does get your butt moving! But I would say this workout is much more muscle centered than cardio weight loss centered.
4. DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED IF YOU CANT GET THROUGH DAY 1! Bum Bum is the first workout scheduled on his suggested calendar. ITS THE HARDEST WORKOUT! Its been two weeks, and i still cant get through the whole thing. It get's easier! I Promise! Other workouts are easier, and Bum Bum is by far the toughest. So keep going!

I ordered the tree DVD's and was offered the other two DVD's, plus life time DVD replacement. Went from spending $60 to $150, but it works. The first week my butt and thighs were sore; which I was informed by the operator. When I did the sculpting, my back muscles hurt. By the end of the 30 day mark, my soreness started to subside and needed to change the booty band strength. By day 45, I still felt the burn, my saddle bags had slimmed down, my booty was tighter, and my clothes were fitting bigger, but life got in the way a week later and I stopped. But besides that, this product works! I started up again a week ago and I know it's working because my body is sore all over again. :-)

So i got the video like two weeks ago and its already showing miracles! you can feel your butt really working and it also comes with a video to sculpt your arms. when i first started i couldn't do half the things they showed on video but after only the first week i was able to keep up! --i definitely recommend it.

I was so anxious waiting for my BBL to arrive in the mail!! When it finally did i started right the next day. I did the cardio axe and I loved it!! It's not boring and I got to dance samba!! I have a dance background so it was not hard for me to keep up with it. On the same day I did the high and tight and I barely finished the last reps of each exercise. Next day my butt was sore but I liked it cuz that was a sign that it worked!! I didn't workout the next day. Today it's my third day and did the BUM BUM. I was thinking to do the cardio axe after but 10 min on the BUM BUM I was out of breath. I couldn't believe that cuz I thought I was in good shape. OMG, it's a great workout but def not for beginners. I pushed myself to finished all the workouts though but didn't do all the reps cuz it was too much. Hopefully in a week or two I'll be in better shape. I obviously still haven't seen any changes in my body since it's been only 2 workout sessions so far. I can't wait to the end of the month to compare my before and after pics and measure my body!!! I will keep you posted. Sorry my English is not very good.

It works. It really works. But you have to have a healthy eating plan to go along with it. Personally, I do Weight Watchers. I lost about 50 lbs before I started working out and before that, I had knee pain so severe I thought I would have to have surgery. Yes, this program is tough, but if you want results you have to work for them. If you have to press pause a few times to get through it, do that, but keep going. Trust me. If someone as unhealthy as me got into Brazil Butt Lift straight from no exercise, it's not "too hard." I've been doing it about 6 weeks now and I lost a pants size and 9 1/2 inches total (2 each off my hips and waist). IT WORKS. My thighs are rock hard (except inner thighs...working on those) and my butt is lifting. I still have a long way to go, but I highly recommend this program. The only downside really is that it can get repetitive, but I switch it up a little bit by doing Bum Bum Rapido instead of Cardio Axe.

I am 26, weigh 138, and this is the most I have weighed since I had my 4 kids. I have tried Zumba, and P90x, both. I can honestly say that I have gotten the most results from my Brazil Butt Lift discs than any of the others I have tried. I didn't do the diet part, but figured I would still benefit from just the exercise since I went from no exercise to once a day, every day for a month. My results?? Well I didn't lose weight(or lbs per say), but I toned up and lost 11 inches from my body. Now the challenge is....doing the routine for 3 months....I will return...

I have posted before but now I have done this workout for 4 months and I am in the BEST shape of my life! My butt and legs look better than I ever dreamed possible. My arms are defined and now I weigh less than in high school. I did not follow the eating plan, but I cut out chips, soda and most junk food but chocolate. I have 4 kids ages 20,18,15,and 10 I think my stomach will never be where I want but that might be from the kids or from the chocolate lol. I never thought I could look this good at 42.

I have finished two weeks of BBL. I am 51 years old, 5'5, 135 lbs. I am not trying to lose weight, but I am so flabby, it's ridiculous. So my goal is to lift and shape my pear-shaped butt, tone my thighs and hopefully reduce the cellulite. After the first day, I almost sent the videos back because in the first 10 minutes of Bum Bum I was sweating profusely and my legs felt like jelly. I could not keep up or finish. I was thinking this is surely not for people my age. I did it the next day, though and for the first week I could barely walk, sit, or get up from sitting. Out of desperation, I posted my concerns on teambeachbody.com, and I received lots of encouragement that kept me going. What motivated me even more was that my husband commented after the first week that he noticed a difference in my thighs and butt! I looked in the mirror from the side, and sure enough, my butt was rounder. I'm in week three and I can get through Bum Bum although not all the reps. It's hard to keep my balance on some moves do I have to hold on to the TV stand with one hand. I'm definitely becoming firmer, so it is working, but for me there are other issues I'm having to deal with. For one, I'm retaining alot of water which I understand is common when beginning a new program. Hopefully, that will resolve soon. And, I am now hungry all the time! Omg. Despite these two issues, I love the results. I have way more energy--I don't feel so lethargic-- and my legs and butt are firmer. I love it!

I completed a week and lost 2 inches off my waist. I'm 40, have 3 teenagers, and have not taken on any exercise program in years. After reading these reviews, I'm proud of what I have accomplished. During the first week my butt has littered some and I can feel the muscle tightening on both my bum bum and my thighs. My hubby is loving the change and insists I continue. Lets just say we are both enjoying the results and there's no stopping us now ;)

So i have fibromialga and have a hard time doing alot of workouts. I am 178lb compared to the 140 i used to weigh 2 years ago. I tried zumba. Loved it!! But a month in i threw out my back for 3 days i didnt go back bc i was scared of hurting myself. I desperately want to lose weight and i am a determined person!! What is a good low impact workout that gives real results. I dont need super easy i want it to be hard but i dont want to do one workout and not be able to get out of bed the next day. I mean your supose to be sore i like sore but i dont want to be in so much pain i literLly cant move which is hard due to this disease anyway. I want to try bbl!! Bc all my problem areas are my butt and thighs and hips and belly! Any suggestions?

To the person thinking all the reviews are fake: I definitely have no affiliation with the company, and I am on day 4. These reviews all match my experience so far. I had to stop the bum bum workout with 8 mins left today because I couldn't do anymore. But I can feel it working. It's definitely hard, but if it was easy then it wouldn't work. My legs are shaking and I'm sore, but I have a flat butt and I'm not quitting until I get the butt I want! I love it so far.

So I'm an 18 year old college student who literally does nothing but eat and needed a way to shed a few pounds (especially in my hips/thighs area) and looked for BBL.

Oh man doing the basics for the first time was already tough for me! I guess that's what happens when you don't work out in the summer. Anyway, I tried out Bum Bum and that killed me to. I pretty much gave up 20 minutes in. Then a week later I thought I might as well give it another shot since I paid so much for this thing. And I got through it.

Let me tell you this. YOU WILL FEEL THE BURN. You will want to give up and roll into a ball halfway through but DON'T DO IT!! Trust me - I told myself I was going to take a two minute break in between Bum Bum and ended up falling asleep on the yoga mat. But after several incomplete reps, I finally pulled through.

I have noticed a slight lift in my butt and my abs feel sooooo much tighter. My legs are still jiggly though so I'm working on it. Like someone else said, it does get repetitive so I recommend heading to the gym for one or two days a week. I think starting now I will start putting a little more effort into the BBL routine before Freshman 15 is no longer a myth :-)

I found this website because I just started the Bum Bum workout and I couldn't believe how hard it was and needed a break. I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one dripping sweat and in pain after 15 minutes. I have been doing Chalene Extreme and Turbo Jam for 2 months and it is still killing me. I am 200 lbs and its not impossible to do but hard and room for improvement as I get stronger. I recommend it so far but need to try the other videos.

tI am A 46 YEAR OLD WHO WANTED A GOOD WORKOUT AND TRIED THE BRAZIL BUTT LIFT. MY ONLY PROBLEM AREAS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY UPPER THIGHS AND BUTT. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS WORKOUT FOR ABOUT 4 WEEKS NOW AND IT IS AMAZING. I HAVE ALWAYS WORKED OUT BUT THIS HAS REALLY SHAPED AREAS THAT HAVE ALWAYS BEEN CELLULITE-Y AND SHAKY. IT IS GETTING FIRMER AND I LOOK BETTER IN MY JEANS AND SKIRTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN TIRED OF IT YET, EITHER- WHICH IS HUGE BECAUSE I ALWAYS GET TIRED OF DVD'S! DON'T SAVE ANYTHING FOR LATER!!

Let me start by saying i do not work for beachbody! I have p90x and insanity...i cant do p90x and insanity i like but i really need something to help me get my sexy back and i know this is mental but Leandro says all the right things. I have about 50 lbs to lose to get back to where i want to be. My lower body is my toughest. I only began yesterday with bum bum and i liftd weights for upper body...omg had to stop some with bum bum...this morning i could visually see a change in my waist, i measured and i lost 1/2 inch...sure its probably water but oh well its what i need to stay motivated. I just finished cardio, its my fave and about to do high and tight....im loving these...good luck to all using them .... Best buy ever....Cancun here i come rockin' my bikini body!!!!

Thank you!! Im 45 year old female, and Brazilian butt lift kicks my butt, but I am tone, and my butt is lifted, I can't be 20, but I can be 45 and strong and toned, looking and feeling amazing...

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I haven't seen much of a difference at all. I'm 5'3" and 110 pounds. I have been an avid runner (70 miles/week) for about 20 years now but always wished for a better butt. I didn't even break a sweat with the workout and have noticed my thighs are bigger. I'm almost ready to give up since I have been doing it for about 6 months now. However, I am 44 so I keep thinking I am beating gravity. I think the best results are from people who are out of shape.

I just completed day one of the Bum Bum and Tummy Tuck workouts. I wore a heart rate monitor and burned 551 calories. I could only do 75% of Bum Bum and did a lot of modifications. I only completed about half of the Tummy Tuck workout. Both of these were really hard and I wanted to stop several times, but I kept with it and was surprised by the amount of calories burned! I realized its okay, I don't have to be perfect. I just need to keep pushing play!

I'm on my second week and I can feel a big difference! It's great for a 20 something just looking to tone up a little before spring break (like me) or someone who is really looking to loose weight. It's NOT and easy workout though!!

I have been using the BrizilButt Lift workout for about 5 weeks now. It's making a big difference. Everyday the workouts get easier and easier. I can feel my body changing. You can really feel the difference after every workout.

It's a tough, fast-paced workout but overall, I'm not impressed. Leandro's verbal instructions are unclear (ex. He'll say to do three more, but then he'll switch moves after one), or vague. Since the moves change frequently, it's hard to keep up with instructions like that. I also think it's silly that they spent so much on the packaging, but then made the video and audio quality so poor. I bought the kit, so I have to use it now, but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I decide to try this dvd because i want to tone my abs for the summer. I just starte yesterday and the workouts are intense! I know this will work because i was sore in my abs this morning. What i also like is that there are multiple dvds in one case ( one for your thighs, butt, and abs). Nevertheless, it will take dedication and persistance but im willing to work for it because im dying for my abs this summer!!!!

I can say I'm real and will tell you my experience and drop some basic workout knowledge on you since some people seem confused. But most likely Beach Body will figure out a way to have my post erased.

I haven't seen anyone accurately describe what BBL consists of. It's moves cribbed from ballet, Tae Bo, 80s aerobic video leg lifts, Bikram stretches, zumba, and more lunges than you've ever done in your life. (For the woman who had the knee replacement and wants to know if she can do Brazil Butt Lift program - hell NO! Bum Bum alone is 23 minutes of lunges and kicks, ending with five minutes of Bikram yoga.)

On the plus side, yes if you follow one of their four calendars AND change your diet you will receive the result you want. NOT in the time period they promise (I would triple that 80 day promise to be more realistic).

On the definitely negative side, the DVDs can be dangerous. There is not enough stretching, all the exercises are done way too fast to be safe, and there are several exercises that can throw your back out (really be careful with the ab tape - no one should be bouncing in and out of difficult Bikram stretches for eff's sake). Proper form instruction isn't given and is difficult to maintain even when you're educated and going half speed. Just be careful. This program isn't appropriate for people who can't keep up with Insanity or P90x (both of which I hate by the way). I really fear for all the inexperienced exercisers who attempt to follow along without knowing which moves to avoid or slow down because of their danger. Go. Slow.

Beach Body itself as a company is as scary as they come. Don't take their supplements or shakes, and for god's sake don't ever give them your credit card. Borrow the tapes from a friend or library, buy on Ebay or Amazon....DO NOT go directly through Beach Body or you'll end up having to cancel your credit card to stop their charges. How the Better Business Bureau lets them operate is beyond my. From the reviews, it sounds like almost no one is doing an hour a day of the videos AND dieting. Nothing will work for you if you don't put in this minimum. It sounds like most of you have little education on how the body works. 85% of weight loss comes through what you're eating. So no, you can't do half of Bum Bum three times a week, keep drinking your diet soda and eating pizza, and see any results.

Let's talk about what you put in your mouth. You need to work with your doctor or dietician, not conform to a generic diet prescription. Find out what your gene mutations through a company like 23andMe.com, and build the low calorie healthy diet from there. Some people need meat, some people can't eat meat...even "healthy" foods like bananas and spinach are poison if you have a CBS gene mutation or thyroid disease. You need to figure out your body with your own healthcare people. Look into it. What won't be healthy for you are Beach Body processed shakes filled with chemicals. More than 50% of people are lactose intolerant and don't even know it. You'll never lose weight if you're eating things your body is allergic to. While you're at it, do some research on Gluten and GMO foods and figure out if those foods are making you have inflammation that prevents weight loss.

For those of you gaining inches, you need to diet and add more cardio...and you need to vary the cardio so your body doesn't adapt. Change your cardio style every two weeks or you won't lose weight. Remember, it's actually asking a lot of your body to build muscle AND dump fat at the same time. Most professional bodybuilders choose one or the other thing to do at a time. The single most effective way to lose fat longterm is to put on muscle. In the long run, muscle burns more calories throughout the day than you can possibly have time/energy to burn through cardio.

If you have an autoimmune disorder, a knee replacement, are hypothyroid...check into "super slow weightlifting" (google it). You won't injure yourself, and if you stick with it for one to two years, add 4 days of gentle walking, then settle into a maintenance routine, you WILL reach your goals without harming your health.

If you want to lift your booty but not lose size, follow the appropriate calendar, don't do cardio, triple your calorie and protein intake. This is the basic formula for how bodies work. If you want to add muscle, eat more protein and lift heavier things. (And yes, if you're trying to lift and shape your butt, you're trying to add muscle).

Stick with it, and again DUH if you're only doing the tapes three times a week and aren't dieting, you're not going to get results from BBL or any other exercise (think about the Biggest Losers' commitment - healthy low calorie diet AND 8 hours a day of exercise. EFF NO, your 2 hours a week of half-ass doing BBL isn't going to slim your body).

Scientists have said it makes no difference if your workout is done all at one time or broken up throughout the day. So if you can't get through the video, don't quit. Hit pause, rest for 10-30 minutes and come back to it. Bum Bum is 28 minutes long with 5 1/2 of that being a cool down. If you need to break it up into 5 minute chunks throughout the day, do it that way. You'll gradually be able to do more and more at a time.

For the record, I'm a size 14, I've stuck to my doctor-approved 1200 calorie low carb no gluten sugar or processed food diet for the past 2 weeks, I've done the exact BBL calendar for pear shapes for 2 weeks, and I've lost one inch off my thighs, one inch off my waist, and can already pass the pencil test. This is a terrific result, and more along the lines of what you should aim for.

Losing weight and keeping it off is about education, realistic expectations, and consistency. If you commit to these three things, you'll find your best way of taking the weight off and keeping it off.

I have this video and YES, it works!!!!! Totally the best video I have!!!! I love my butt, and everyone should have this video....and its so easy, too! I recommend it to everyone! Now Leandro neads to come up with the best abs video!

I started BBL 8 days ago. The first two days were killers. I could barely walk and had to brace myself to sit down. I am 48, 5'7", 163 lbs and very out of shape. After those first couple of days things got easier and I do pretty good at keeping up. Leonardo is awesome. He keeps your energy up, changes things up enough and makes things interesting. His personality is contagious. I can feel the workout and burn while having fun with it. I can't yet see the changes but I feel different and I'm not having back problems like I normally do so I know it's getting stronger! I also feel good about myself because I'm sticking with it. I never have before. I'm excited to see what week 2 will bring!

I have been doing BBL for 4 weeks. I am 31, I have a 2.5 year old and 10 month old. After my 2 year old I did The 30 Day Shred and saw decent results. I just couldn't get into it after having my second baby and honestly I didn't have much time. I finally got the BBL videos and stuck with the schedule and I can say that I'm seeing results. I was already at my goal weight but I need a lot of toning and to lose the love handles and spare tire around my belly. After a week I could really feel myself getting stronger and now at 4 weeks I'm significantly stronger than when I started. I can't see a big difference in my rear end per say but my abs are looking much better and my love handles are starting to disappear. My arms and legs actually got a little bigger but I'm very tall (5'11) and on the lean side so it's not bothering me too much. I just want to be tight all over and it's working! I can't wait to see what the 60 day results will be. I should add though that I haven't really changed my eating and because I'm breastfeeding still I haven't reduced my calories by much. I'm sure if I changed my diet I would see much faster results. As for the workout it's self I really like it. Like others have said I feel really invigorated after and it's not very boring. I LOVE the workout timer on the bottom of the screen and the option to have the music off.

Brazilian butt lift is a waste of money. I've been doing it for 5 weeks with no results. My natural caloric intake is between 700-1200 a day. I should have been getting some results but I haven't. The only thing that has ever lifted my butt was obstacle courses and running. If you want real improvement go to a gym or go running. Don't waste your money.
