REAL Brazil Butt Lift Workout Reviews

OK so Brazil Butt Lift is the new "hot" fitness product from Beachbody. And like the popular Insanity workout (and pretty much all of their products) it's tough to find real, unbiased reviews from people who aren't just trying to sell to you. Yes, Amazon has a handful of reviews (4/2011 Update: Amazon now has many reviews!) but many of them don't seem exactly "authentic". We have gotten several inquiries regarding the product but have yet to try it ourselves. If you or someone you know has tried the Brazil Butt Lift workout program please leave your own reviews, testimonials, opinions, etc. in the "comments" section at the bottom of this page. Thanks!

The idea behind this new at-home workout program is to help women get the kind of perfect butts that so many Brazilian models have. And, having spent some time in Brazil, believe me when I say that the women down their have some of the best-looking, sexiest, and fittest rear ends in the world. So right off the bat I love the concept. But the question remains: does the Brazil Butt Lift workout program actually work?

Leandro Carvalho (aka the "Brazilian Butt Master") is a well-known personal trainer in South America and he's the one who put this new program together. He claims to know the best proven way to "reduce, shape, and lift your behind". Several well-known lingerie and bikini models have used Carvalho's services so we assume that he knows something about what he's talking about. In case you don't know, bikini modeling is a HUGE industry in Brazil and the models absolutely have to look "perfect" by the Brazilian standard. So lots of intense exercise -- and, in most cases, a very good amount of plastic surgery -- is a must for these ladies.

The Brazil Butt Lift DVD program promises to get your booty into "runway shape" so that you too can have the same kind of sexy derriere that looks incredible in a bathing suit, tight shorts, or even just a well-fitting pair of jeans. According to Carvalho the secret is his "TriAngle Training" method that efficiently exercises all the muscles of the buttocks from several different angles. He promises that it's a super-effective way to lift and shape your butt while trimming and tightening you hips and thighs... and even melting away stubborn thigh and belly fat.

The program is based around Brazilian dancing (samba anyone?), special types of cardio training, and a few lower-body "sculpting" exercises. Beach Body claims that it will work for any butt type... but that's extremely hard to believe since the shape of your butt (like the rest of your body) is very dependent on your personal genetics. That's where the plastic surgery mentioned above comes in and it's why you should keep in mind that even the sexiest Brazilian bodies have often been enhanced with more than just natural exercise and diet!

We hope to get some good customer reviews in the near future and possibly even an "expert evaluation" from one or two of our contributors. And please remember to leave your own opinions, questions, comments, etc. below!

(By the way, just to clear up any confusion, a real Brazilian "butt lift" is a buttock "enhancement" procedure that involves transferring fat cells from one part of your body -- such as the stomach or hips -- and injecting them into your buttocks. Liposuction is often used to improve the contouring around the butt area. Many plastic surgeons consider this to be the best "natural" way to improve the appearance of your rear end... along with exercise of course!)

I just ordered my DVDs on Amazon yesterday. I really want to firm up my butt before summer gets here. If the workouts work I'll post a quick review here in a month or two!

Unknown said...

That'd be great - I haven't been able to find any reviews online that don't seem to be written by the company. I hope it works - if it does I'm going to purchase it. :)

Anonymous said...

Lilly, I'm thinking about buying this workout. How is it going for you so far? Thanks

Ok, I have been using Brazil Buttlift for 3 weeks and I can tel you that it works! At the end of the first week you already notice a huge difference. My butt an thighs are a whole lot tighter. And best of all, my butt is lifting slowly but surely! Its not easy though. One of the videos hurts my butt so bad but I like it because I know it is working :)

i ordered today. I will write to update after I try it out for a while.

I've been using the brazilian butt-lift workout for about 2 weeks. All I can say it that it really REALLY works your glutes and thigh muscles! I've lost some weight and have noticed a big improvement in the way my rear-end looks. I'd definitely recommend this to other women.

I purchased the Brazil Butt Lift and was not even sure I was going to keep it because i could not find a good review. They do all seem to be unauthentic. I tried it anyway, because I have yet to find a good butt tape, and I have tried a few! I work out 3-4 times a week, running and weights, at the gym so I thought the tape would be easy. It wasn't! I could not believe how much it worked my butt and thighs and how much I was sweating after only 20 minutes! IT IS A GREAT PURCHASE. I CAN ALREADY FEEL IT WORKING, AFTER JUST A FEW WEEKS! I LOVE IT!! I wish I had the nerve to try it six months ago!

I have been doing the Brazilian Butt Lift DVD's for 10 days and I can tell my "bum bum" is tighter already. My abs are also tightening up and getting flatter. It's not an easy work out and, to be honest, there are a couple of exercises that I can't even complete all the reps. But I'm improving my strength each time I do the workout and can REALLY feel it.

I would recommend this video set, but keep in mind that your butt isn't going to lift and tighten on it's own. It's hard work!

I ordered the Brazil Butt Lift Workout about 3 weeks ago, it sat in the box for about a week. I was a little skeptical but I finally opened the box and followed the instructions, i measured myself and did all the workouts. Well after 2 weeks..I am FEELING and SEEING the results, my butt and legs and everything else is getting very toned. Originally i got this to lose from my hips and thighs but this works on the whole body. trust me, as a pear shape the hips and thighs are VERY hard to lost and after 2 weeks i dropped over 1 1/2 inches and it's just incredible. I've done 3 back to back workouts at my gym and never got close to these results before. Brazilian Butt Lift is fun, motivating and OMG it definitely works! Worth every penny! I'm loving it!

I've been using the brazil butt lift for 3 weeks now and dropped 2 inches all together on my hips and thighs. I went from a 14 to a 10. It is amazing i def recommend this to someone who is in need of losing inches quickly.

I'm 39 and have a 2 year old but was previously an avid spinner at the gym and am still a powerwalker and do other intense workouts.

I am not in the best shape right now (5'3 120 something), but can normally go to any exercise class at a gym and keep up.

I tried the BUM BUM yesterday for the first time and I had to hit pause after 15 minutes. I was so exhausted I couldn't believe it. It was absolutely amazing.

The DVD is great for someone really looking to firm up...it is not something I'd recommend for someone just getting into a fitness routine or who is older and just looking to exercise a bit. If you are a teen or twenty something -this is perfect for you...or even in your 30's -but you've got to have a pretty high level of fitness to be able to do this.

There is no way you could follow their recommended diet of 1000 calories a day for women while working out like this (plus that is not even safe -anything under 1200 is ridiculous).

BUT...I have to say that I do highly recommend it. The materials included with the kit are high quality and I LOVE the way the DVD shows how much time is remaining in the workout and each set of exercises. I also like how they periodically switch from the set to the girls on the beach doing the same exercises -there is a lot of variety and interest...much more creative than other exercise DVD's I've purchased.

I'm not sure how I'm going to do the next workout today, but I'm going to go for it...I really think this is the only thing that can help me get back into my pre baby size. I've struggled with the last 10 lbs for too long...

Hey so i've been reading through some of the review and i really didn't see any for day one. Well your probably wondering why day one? I say if you want a solid review, you it needs to be given by the "practical person" I just finished day one of the this workout and let me tell you... it isn't no practical beginners workout. Its hard, fast, and will have you cursing at your television. Does it work? Will it work? Yes, you might not be feeling so hot after you do these videos' but they'll lead you down the path to success.... Ill post another comment after i survive my first week

Kaylin said...

OMG. I am so thankful to read these reviews that are actually real :-D my roommate and I just ordered the DVD's last night and we weren't sure if we made a good choice but after all the wonderful things we read we are SO excited for our new butts!! We'll post again to let others know how it works for us!!! THANKS!

Brenda said...

I'm just wondering if it's a good total body work out or is it just to target hips/thighs/abs? Has anyone done Turbo Jam? Would it be comparable?

Kaylin said...

So my roommate and I did day one of the workout and I was dying. I worked out once already but it was only a half hour and I thought I could handle it, I was dying. Its for sure fast pace so be ready!!

Unknown said...

I am currently doing Turbo Jam and let me say this....I LOVE IT!! i have muscles that are so sore after only three days that i didnt even know existed !!! I am about to order the Brazil Butt Lift and the ZUMBA dvd set :) the plan will be to do Zumba, BBL, and Turbo Jam every day :) yall i am so freakin excited :)

umm I am thirty and I do p90x plus one of the vids in this series plus jogging, every day.

I have to say that 'thirty is the end of it all' mindset is the same sort of mediatic bull crap that calls 5 5 ladies 'midgets'.

Not every woman is 5 10 110 lbs and 17 people!

And for the record, I was around 22 % BF in my early twenties, 19% in my late twenties, now I am at 17% at age THREE -ZERO.

Like Tony Horton says 'do not give in to the myth of aging, just believe in moving and eating right'

That does not mean one can be 50 and look 20 but it does mean that one can still IMPROVE at age 30 something. I certainly plan to do so.

I 2nd that! I'm 46 and I love these tapes. I did the whole 4 weeks before vacation last month. My butt looks great I lost 7 pounds with it and now I'm starting the tapes again. It's been 3 weeks since vacation. I've kept the weight off but want to keep toned up.

Just got the BBL dvd's and have done two days of it, wow, it is a def workout and my butt is still sore from doing only 16 minutes of the first bum bum dvd. I think I am going to love the results!

Anonymous said...

I have been using the program for almost 2 weeks now and the only thing i've noticed is that my jeans are tighter and i've gained 1/2 inch in my thighs! This IS NOT the result i wanted...however, I do feel that my "bum bum" sits higher and tighter. My favorite program is slim-in-6, also offered by beachbody which really does SLIM and TONE the whole body!

Anonymous said...

I don't have the DVDs but I do take Leandro's BBL classes at a gym in NYC. He is fantastic and his program truly works! I work out (cardio classes, running, toning & sculpting classes) 4-5x a week and was in pretty good shape when I started his classes with the goal of reducing, lifting and toning my butt, hips and thighs. I noticed results after 2 weeks. You won't find any negative reviews about his program because it is really effective. I've been to various gyms that he teaches at and his classes are always packed to capacity and he has a huge fan following. All well-deserved. If you're on the fence about buying the DVDs. BUY THEM!!!!!!!!

I have had BBL for a few months before we made a big move and only did the tummy tuck. Having done a round of P90x, I will say I like the tummy tuck better than abripperX as it is more simplistic in my opinion and it burns just the same, if not more, the next day.

I just did my first true day of the workout and I will say that I feel like I just did a round of plyometrics (which i will add I did last week and the week before). At this point, my thighs are 25" I will give an update as to what they are in a couple of weeks.

I also have Zumba and have visited several classes, I enjoy zumba more compared to cardio axe, but both are enjoyable. It could be music choice that helps me enjoy Zumba so much.

BTW, BBL does have a workout that
incorporates hand weights, so you are getting cardio, lower body and an upper body workout.

Mandy Higgins said...

I find these DVDs not only target your butt -- my upper back and arms started to gain more definition as you are required to keep your arms up during the cardio workouts. With the basic set of DVDs, there is an effort to cover both cardio and sculpting. My favorite workouts are Bum Bum and Cardio Axe.
You can read more about my experiences with Brazil Butt Lift on my blog, Fantastic Fitness DVDs by Mandy Higgins.

This is a wonderful alternative to the butt lift surgery or butt pads.

This is a great alternative to surgery! It's all natural and you can lose weight at the same time...

I've been using these workout DVDs for a month now and I have to say that I really don't like them. Even though I was able to buy them at a discount I'll still be trying to return them for a refund within the next week. If you really want a tight brazilian butt like I do you're probably gonna have to look somewhere else because this program sucks in my opinion!

Anonymous said...

This workout is amazing! I went from a size 27 waist to a 24 waist in 2 months! Not only did I slim down and now have a tight bum bum but my stomach is flat again! This is the BEST workout I have ever bought. I did lots of research before buying this DVD and I am totally pleased. I have the best butt now and all my celluite is gone off the back of my legs. I receommend this anyone who wants a tighter firmer butt and get toned all over! But you still have to maintain a good diet also to see these results.

Samantha said...

I've been doing these exercises for a while and they definitely make a difference. I also started wearing Jireh Butt-lift Jeans which has made a big difference as well. You can find them online but contact me if you need help finding them.

Pamala said...

Not sure how you can say the program sucks. If you go to the gym you're going to do squats and lunges and use the machines. Using your own body weight w/ movement and cardio is the best way to get results. This program just puts it all together and makes sure you use every angle possible and makes it more enjoyable. I love sculpting and I love using the bands on high and tight, some of the moves in the video i've never done in the gym alone or in group classes.

Kody said...

I'm glad to see that this is working for people. It's a lot cheaper than surgery!

Anonymous said...

I have been using this program since march and I could see a vast improvement after a month. You can see the difference after each workout. I even took pictures to see the improvement over time. I would highly recommend it, but I do agree that you have to be already somewhat physical and capable of doing the routine or you could hurt yourself.

Anonymous said...

After doing some research online and reading all the reviews I am really anxious to order the Brazil Butt Lift set. One question I had, is it ok to do the workout on carpet? Unfortunately, I do not have hard floors in my house except in my kitchen.

Any feedback would be very helpful and greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

BBL First time using it - Doing Bum Bum and I can tell you it is harder then the Insanity workout I did yesterday. (I did the 45 minute insanity)

I can't even make it through Bum Bum (i am 20 minutes in and have to rest)- There are NO breaks in between.

Bum Bum is high intensity cardio and sculpting. I can't see how anyone would not loose weight doing these workouts. That is unless they do not follow the diet plan included with it.

The only problem I have with this workout is that he transitions to fast for me. Definitely NOT for beginners. You can tell this guy routinely works with dancers that know classic ballet and dance moves. It will take me weeks just to be able to transition the moves to do the tape properly.

I bought this after watching an infomercial. I am a pear shape and have struggled with my thighs my whole life. I got my DVD's in the mail, took measurements and launched into the Bum Bum workout. I work out quite a bit and am a martial artist - okay, the Bum Bum video is hard!! I could not do all the reps the first time. Today is day 2 and my bum is feeling it, along with my quads. I'm following the "blueprint" designed for my problem areas, and tonight I'll do the Cardio Axe. I like the instructor and his accent is adorable.

After 30 days, I'll post again to update how many inches I have (hopefully) lost!

Anonymous said...

Ok so ive been using the program for about two weeks and let me tell you im already seeing results! My arms, back and thighs are feeling and looking more toned and my stomach is definitely shrinking! I love how there's so much variety in the videos... i would recommend this to anyone looking to slim down and lift that "bum bum" :) ... if your not seeing results its probably because your not trying hard enough or your not taking it seriously! C'mon people you have to work at getting what you want.. its not gonna happen by just putting the DVD's in!

dookieb said...

I just started Brazil Butt Lift today. I did the 20 minute video outlining the moves and then started Bum Bum. I was so surprised at how intense, fast paced, and hard the video was! It was definitely not a "beginner" video...you just had to jump right in. I had to stop the DVD 15 minutes into it because I could not keep up. Definitely already feeling my leg muscles are sore but now even more motivated to get through the entire video and try the next ones. I will finish the remaining 15 minutes tonight after work and onto the next DVD in the recommended program tomorrow. I will check back in if and when I start to see results!

after reading the reviews here and on other pages i'm convinced that 90% of them are fake. they were written by people from the beachbody company without a doubt. how do i know this?? because they're all basically the SAME REVIEW!! actually, they're all the same 4 or 5 versions written and re-written and re-written over and over again using different wording. but the point is that they're all basically the same positive review with the same pros and cons (much more pros of course, and no truly negative cons) worded differently. i was actually considering buy the brazil butt workout DVDs but after seeing the way that the beachbody people blatantly try to manipulate this and other review websites i will never buy a single one of their products. i'm sure that a few weeks of aerobics classes at my gym are a much better investment of my time and money!

Spinner said...

I'm not a Beachbody rep or anything like that. I'm a spinner/body pumper who did P90x and was not all that impressed. My lower body has always been a challenge (due to cycling and genetics) and I'm about to start BBL. I'm so so excited. So my future post will be an honest-to-goodness, unbiased review. Stay tuned!!

Hey, My mom ordered the Brazilian butt lift and since it has arrived she has forced me to do it with her, and all i can tell you is it is HARD but it works. Ironically, my favorite video is the tummy tuck. Two days of that video and my belly feels much stronger and FLATTER!

Felicia said...

I feel like these workouts are too hard. I've been doing the program for 1 1/2 weeks now and i'm getting a little better but every time I do the workouts I am suffering cause there are hardly any breaks. Sometimes I can't finish all the reps and I have to take a break, but I've pushed myself to get through every workout everyday. I really dread the Bum Bum workout because it is so hard. I was really sore the first week, but that's good because I know it's actually working me out. Haven't really seen any changes yet but I feel like my body is tighter.

Patty M. said...

Just received my dvds yesterday and did the first Basic and BumBum vids. I'll update as I go but going into it- I am an 5'6", 115 and a size two. I DO NOT want to lose weight. I got the videos to see if I can actually "pump up" my flat butt. Along with my regular long distance running (3x's week) and ashtanga yoga (2-3 x's a week), I hope I can actually see results (and that my quads don't put on too much muscle).

Anonymous said...

hey, well i think i've done the workout for about a month or two and i love it. i would reccomend it to anyone looking to loose weight in any area and or firm your butt. and although at first it was absolutely tiring, i stuck with it and within 3 weeks i was getting people telling me i was looking thinner and it really motivates you to do more. oh and the workouts are no denise austin boring workouts they are fun and the cardio one is just dancing its lots of fun.

V irginia said...

I ordered my Brazil Butt Lift yesterday. Hope to have it here soon.

However, I wanted to address Camielle who said these reviews were fakes and these posters are from Beachbody. She went on to say she would never purchase a beachbody product because they have hijacked the reviews. This is a paraphrase of course.

Camille, I have no doubt these reviews are real, and let me tell you why.

I am 43 years old. I began my lifestyle of fitness on my 40th birthday with "Body for Life."

Late one night, I found myself watching a P90X infomercial - a beachbody product.

My husband not only told me it would not work, he told me I would not be able to do it. I had learned enough from Body-for-Life to know that most any exercise was good exercise, and P90X looked intense but fun.

I got it. I loved it. I got phenomenal results.

I then ordered from Beachbody Turbo Jam, a cardio based workout. I love it. I get great results.

I then order from Beachbody Chalean Extreme, yet another program somewhat comparable to P90X, but a completely different program yet again providing great results.

You find so many dedicated fans of Beachbody because Beachbody puts out quality products guaranteed to give the results they claim IF you follow the program.

That is one reason I have zero problem doubting I will have great results with the Brazil Butt Lift. That is one reason I have no problem believing the reviews.

Beachbody has earned their quality reputation and they have earned the respect and loyalty of their followers.

I'm sorry you feel these reviews are plants and based on that you refuse to purchase a Beachbody product. The only one you are hurting is yourself.

I hope, for your sake, you will one day take the Beachbody challenge.

Oh and by the way, I found this particular site when I was seeking some before and after photos for the Brazil Butt Lift. My guess is that is how most ended up here as well.

I have been using bbl only twice a week due to my busy schedule and it really does work! For ppl that say it doesn't work, if you are really overweight or if you are not working hard enough or eating a lot of junk food, obviously it's a workout program, not a magic trick. The most common problem I see is ppl who are more than 20 pounds overweight who expect to do these programs and see results which is not going to happen when your body is covered with a layer of fat. First you need to eat better and do cardio to lose weight. Then you can do a program like bbl to tone your body.

i found brazil butt lift to be a fairly hard workout, but i did not obtain the results i was hoping for. i weigh 110 at 5'4", am in average to good shape and age 57. maybe the 57 is why it didn't work for me. i think it is time for me to go use the weighted machines at the gym!

I did BBL for a week so far and let me tell you its amazing in just 15 min of Bum bum and you are drench in sweat. I have what you call a flat ass and in just one week my ass looks a little higher and my thighs look toner. I couldnt bilieve it i had been going to the gym for one year doing squats etc. never seen results this quickly. I defenetly recomend this product.

Im so glad i was able to locate this site. I am a typical consumer and love to read reviews on EVERYTHING b4 i buy. I beleive all the videos work, you just have to do it...i will def be ordering this video and doing everything im suppose to, to get the results im hoping for. THANKS EVERYONE!

Scammed Beachbody Customer said...

Brazil Butt-Lift, like all Beachbody products, is a scam and a rip-off. I was involved in the "Team Beachbody" coach scam for about 2 years and I know more than I ever could have wanted to about this company. Most of their programs (P90X, Insanity, Brazil Butt-Lift, etc.) are too much too soon for the average out-of-shape person. They're also very over-priced! There are dozens of equally-as-good fitness/workout video programs out there that don't cost half as much as the BB products. But the main reason Beachbody is a rip-off company has to do with the various backend "auto-billing" products they try to get you to buy. Be very, very careful if you do buy this or any of their products!

I've been using the TurboFire program for a couple weeks. So far I LOVE it! It's a fantastic home workout program and I've lost a lot of body fat using it. Once I lose a little more weight I'll be switching to the Brazilian Butt Lift program so that I can tone my butt, thighs, legs, etc. Thanks for all the great reviews on this page! -M

This comment is for the 39 yr old with a 2 yr old. I'm 48 soon to be 49 with 4 children. I have been working out consistently for the past 15 yrs. I just finished up 2 rounds of insanity and trust me it doesn't get any harder than that. I'm on week 2 of the BBL workout and I totally love it. Oh...just for the record, I can totally keep up. So this workout is not just for someone in there 20's or 30's.

The video does work I got definition in my arms and my abs and my ass is so hard that I cant believe it myself. The only down size is that I look fit but in the scale at I have not lost weight.

Unknown said...

Don't be discouraged if you don't weigh less because as you workout your building muscle and muscle weights more than fat. It is better to base your fitness goals on inches lost.
I'm a 31 yr old female that has tried the first day of BBL and like others have said it is fast passed and I lost my balance a couple times but I'm sticking with it because that is the only way to see the true results. No matter what ya can't lose!

Anonymous said...

Alright here is the thing. I agree that some sites seem fake when you look up the reviews. I already own bbl. I bought it before I moved. I tried it for a week and I was completely sore. After I moved I barely touched it. I am getting back on the band wagon. I don't really like cardio axe, because once you get the hang of it its kind of repetitive. I like bum bum and I'm excited that there are 3 different versions so you don't have to watch the same one over and over. This might be pricey but at least it something. For me, it looked good and it feels good. I'd rather have the tools to push myself then be lazy and not do anything. So its worth it for me, exactly what I needed to start getting into shape. What are you waiting for?

I just ordered the BBL workout, I hope it works. I have the Slim in 6 DVD's, they work great I'm the same weight I was in HS. You have to do the workout every day and follow the diet plan. Its hard work but you'll feel great!!!!

Okay, I just purchased this off Ebay today and hope I have the staying power to see it thru for a few weeks. I already have a butt that's well rounded but i'd like to see it in a better shape along with the back of my legs shaping up. I don't wear shorts because of my thighs and I am not overweight, I am 5ft 6.5in and 145lbs I currently wear a size 29 in jeans. Will keep you posted on the results for real!

I've been using this for almost a week. I am not a quitter and will not stop using it, but I will say that it is hard to follow. You have to be a very experienced dancer to follow the moves. The Cardio Axe workout is just that. Dance moves. You have to be so coordinated. With this workout, I end up just winging it. It is very confusing to follow the workout when they keep cutting away to the beach workout. The other workouts are easier to follow.

i'm 31 and have been in decent shape my entire life. I recently ordered Insanity and am in my 3rd week of that workout. But.....i've been seeing the adds for the Brazil Butt Lift and since I appreciate dance in all forms (they had me at the promise of Samba, I decided to purchase it. I just finished the first workout and let me say that it was quite challenging!! i'm impressed!! I was also sweating like crazy by the time the workout was done. It's DEFINITELY a great cardio workout. My thighs are starting to hurt as I write this. I hope I have enough energy for tomorrow's Insanity and BBL workout.

I have been using BBL for 5 months and I noticed results right away. It is the best workout that I have ever done and after the first month I was more toned and fit. After the 2nd month people were asking if I was going to the gym because I looked so good. And the most attention I got was for my nicely rounded and lifted rear end. I am a pear shape and with BBL I have been able to sculpt my body and reduce cellulite dramatically. I didn't lose lbs. but I have a flat stomach and am super sculpted. At 5'7" 146lbs and a 38 year old mother of 3...I feel and look great! I highly recommend to persons that want to sculpt, but not for losing a great deal of weight.

okay, I have been doing the bbw for three weeks now and going on the fourth week. I have to say this is extreme, but so motivating. I really haven't lost any weight, but I did lose a 1/2 inch off my hips. I am extreme pear shape (very big difference from top and bottom). Just knowing what exercises I am going to do for the day has been something that holds me to do the exercise. My husband has noticed a difference with less cellulite which has been great. I started wearing girdle while doing my workout to sweat a lot more, since i don't sweat a lot from my bottom half; which as helped a lot.

I ordered the DVD a few weeks ago, finally got it in the mail, I took all my measurements and pictures yesterday. Tonight will be my first workout, hoping I can keep up and catch onto this quickly I will post my results when I'm done.

To Camille

The reason these review sound the same is because a lot of people had similar experience.

This BBL program is really hard. I could not keep up with it (15 min into it and I was out of breath) I am now going to do turbo jam just to get myself fit and ready for the BBL.

Camille, if you still think these reviews are made up, well, too bad for you cuz you don't know what you're missing.

I am considering purchasing this but I'm reading the reviews by people saying they are doing p90x, this tape, then running- wow thats way too much time for me. Anyone just doing these tapes and seeing results? I'm currently working out appx 3x's week, sometimes more and sometimes less but its been a long time since I've seen results. I work full time and have 3 kids in sports so my time is limited so I try to use heavy weights and short burts of high intensity cardio but I have areas around my legs, stomach, and thighs that just remain with a layer of fat and cellulite- ewww. I think I only need to lose around 10lbs if that but I need to firm up and my butt has gotten soooo flat the past few years from my working out and losing a few lbs. I reall want the butt lifted and the cellulite/fat gone but can't work out for hours every day.

This workout is great. I am only on day 2 but my butt is SO sore from that Bum Bum workout! It was brutal and for some reason I wasn't expecting that! I was sweating like crazy. I can tell it is going to get my behind in shape in no time if I stick with it. I'm 5'2" 122 and just had a baby about 4 months ago. I am looking to lose about 10 pounds and tighten things back up. I think this program is perfect for what I need. I am very happy I purchased it.

I just ordered my DVD's from Amazon. I'm going to the beach in 4 weeks and hoping to firm up a bit. I'm 30 years old, 5'4 and 122 lbs. I have gained a few pounds over the past year and have started to feel a bit mushy in the booty/thigh area. Will post my results in a month!

I bought the Brazilian Butt Lift work out and I have been doing my designated schedule plan for my butt type and I saw a difference even after 2 weeks. It is absolutely a great purchase, and I recommend it to anybody looking for a change. Thanks Leandro!

I have started this workout a week ago and I LOVE IT! Most at home videos are boring and always in the gym setting, but this video makes you want to keep excercising!! After my 1st day, I immediately felt resistance in my thighs/butt the next day, which proved to me that it's working. The energy and motivation of the people in the video and the instructor keep me going. I am a model and I'm glad I chose this program. It keeps me fit and ready for the runway/photoshoots!

i gotta say, just like everyone else i was weary of amazon and the comments on brazil butt lift but a friend of mine took me to her gym where the trainer had a class featuring the butt lift. we did the first workout that lasted about 40 minuets. and to be totaly honest, i couldnt do all the reps!!!

im a mid 20s girl and thought i was in good shape but wow!! by the end of the routine i was laying on the floor sweating like crazy and my legs felt like jelly! weather i will see a difference in my booty i cant say. but as for the first day my goodness i will say my booty and thighs are screaming. even if it doesnt make my booty more shapely or lift it, this is deff a workout that will get you moving and sweating your heart out and is a great way to really tone up your legs.

its been a few hours now since the class im starting to feel the burn in my butt its self and not just the thighs and hip, also a bit in my lower back. the trainer is featuring a new roiutine every week so i will have to see how things work out and if it does what it claimes. even if it doesnt work, its still a great workout regardless!

I'm 13 and I play high school soccer.
We run a crazy amount everyday, but my inner thighs are still a HUGE problem. everyday I tell myslef "if I could just get rid of my thighs, I would love my legs". My mom has BB and I went down and forced her to do it with me. Even at the shape i'm in for soccer, I was still pretty tired. We did the "sculpt". It killed my arms, but I couldn't really feel it for my inner thighs. anyone have any suggestions?

Katie Robinson said...

Today would be day 4 of my BBL challenge! As of right now I haven't been able to physically see any results. However, I can certainly feel it in my thighs and butt. One thing that I was really excited about after the first workout was the fact that I could feel it in my inner thighs the next day. To me, I find that the inner thighs are the hardest place to target, so this really made me want to continue with this program.

I do have a few questions, if anyone would be willing to answer them...

1) If I am not following the meal plan, but still eating around 1200 calories a day, will I still see the same results? (it is hard for me to follow this plan because I am a college student)

2) I saw a few questions asked earlier about dimples and cellulite. That is the main reason why I ordered this program, to target and hopefully rid my legs of disgusting cellulite. Does anyone who has seen good results from this program know if the appearance of dimples fades? (I know that you cannot completely rid yourself of cellulite, but you can definitely fade the appearance.)

3) Recently I have noticed that I began to become more hungry than usual. I realize that working out has caused this, but it seems like I'm only gaining weight. Is it normal for the first week or so of this workout to not see many results in regards to weight?

** Please! I am looking for real & sincere answers! If anyone out there has ANY advice for me and the long-term success of this program, I would love to hear it! **

I just tried Brazil Butt lift for the 1st time today. I liked the workout a lot. I am a pear shape and do best w high rep excersise. I am an avid excersiser and would be fine to do this workout daily without being too dore, but his moves are very proven. I am a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor so I am pretty sceptical of videos, but these are quite good. I also like turbo jam since some of you asked. I have problems with my back so turbo fire and insanity are lots of fun, but I pay for it which come on, we excersise for our health so why do I do high impact (I love it!) if it leaves me so sore??? Respect your body but work it hard. Hope this helps, Barb

Its a REALLY tough workout.. but its a lot of fun.. I mean losing weight is all about burning more calories than you take it.. which includes working out and eating right...so you just need to find something that you enjoy and stick with it.. I'll admit I'm incredibly lazy and I dont want to go to the gym and try to figure out machines and put together a program for myself. What I like about bbl is they tell you EXACTLY what to do.. what workouts to do what days based on your butt type.. I've finished week 1 and my butt is definitely changing.. I'm also loosing weight all over.. its about an hour a day 6 days a week if you follow the program exactly and I put myself on a reasonable 1600 calorie diet.. I like it.. but again its about finding something you think is fun and stick with it.. the cardio axe one is my favorite.. I also love the high and tight workout

Well.. I bought the DVDs months ago.. I have yet to try them because I have been pretty sceptical and well.. lazy. I'm going to start them though, I'll be back to let everyone know if they work.

I was browsing looking for reviews about BBL as I am getting ready to start it on Monday (Jan 3, 2010) and I like to read success stories.

for people saying that Beachbody is a scam, ripoff and that most reviews are planted by Beachbody people....I have ot say that I totatlly disagree.

I have been using their products for 6.5yrs and they helped me to get back into shape after each one of my 3 kids. I just finished up 5 months of Chalean Extreme and Turbo Fire.

I needed something a little different although I love those programs.

Yes, I am also a beachbody coach although not very active. There is no reason for anyone to leave a false positive review without giving out their coach name b/c if someone does end up ordering a program based on 'fake reviews', that person will not get the credit. so that is how I know that these reviews are not planted.

And Beachbody does not try to sell products that you have to keep re-ordering. I believe the most popular product they have is Shakeology and yes it is pricey but it comes to about 3.5$-5$ per serving (depending if you are a coach or not) and that is just as much if not less that people spend on coffee and doughnuts....and you're getting a healthy meal for the same price!

I have not tried BBL yet but I have no doubt that this is another fantastic program b/c all the other BB programs have proven to be effective and successful.

Maybe BBL is not for everyone...I dont' even know if it's for me but I'm sure that you can choose at least one Beachbody program that will give you the results you want IF you commit to it and clean up your eating.

So don't listen to the neigh sayers and go ahead and order something - you won't regret it!

Thank you to everyone for their honest reviews....they always help me in my purchases!

So I got the video set on Monday (today's Tuesday) and I've tried to follow the program, with mixed results. The videos I've done so far are a lot of fun - his accent's cute and the girls in the background are in amazing shape without making you feel worse about yourself. I've had quite a bit of difficulty keeping up with the videos though - The combos are very fast and there's not much time spent teaching them to you, and I've stopped halfway through exercises to the extent that I've most likely only done half of each video. My thighs and butt are still really sore though, so even that little bit must be doing something. I also only did one of the videos today instead of two. Still, I'm feeling good about the program. I guess I just have to keep working at it till I can do the whole video without stopping.

I did p90x for a month and felt like it was too much upperbody for a female...so i recently bought brazil butt lift. i am fit but i wanted tofirm up my saddlebags and butt (Skinny fat) after 3 days of bbl i lost 3/4 inch off my hips. i usually can never lose weight there!!! it is exhausting, but i do it with my brothers fiance and we have so much fun with it. we laugh through the whole thing trying to shake our bum bums like the girls in the video. my butt legs hips arms abdomen and back are all getting toned and its been only 1.5 wks!! definately worth the money, and more geared towards a females body than p90 is. hope that helps!

Anonymous said...

I've only been doing the Butt Lift workout for 3 days. Let me tell you, it is not for the overweight or a beginner. 10 minutes in on the "Bum Bum" workout I have to stop to take a break. I find this funny because I have no problem with any other cardio work out I do. Perhaps it is just the new movements - that do feel REALLY weird at first if you aren't used to them.

Like anything, if you stick with it I definitely feel it will work but it is up to the person's determination. This isn't a quick or painless fix by any means. It sucks because I feel a lot of these videos are marketed to look fun, exciting and not difficult because they are dance based. Not so much the case! These are HARD!!

I'm not 100% sold yet but I'll keep trying it since I've spent a lot of money on it.

Biggest pet peeve: It isn't for people of all athletic levels. It is for people who are already in shape or who have a good understanding of classical ballet.

Erica T. Brazil butt lift works. I tried insanity but it was too hard. I ordered this and at first I couldn't keep up. If u do 80% of the dvd and give 100% you will feel it.I lost weight in my thighs and arms for sure. My butt never really lifted but it did change slightly. I lost inches for sure but no major weight drop. I really liked it overall. Takes time to keep up with them. They r professionals. I recommend it to anyone who wants to tone and possibly get a toner butt.

I'm really interested in ordering the Brazilian Buttlift. I have finished P90X and Insanity, althouh Insanity was hard on my knees and struggled through it. Now I do a combo workout. I'm a 45 year old mother not looking to lose weight but to make my butt look better. I sort of want to put a little extra on in that area. Does anyone have the same issue? And maybe have any comments?

I'm not a beachbody rep but like most of you, just someone looking for a great workout that will get the job done. I started off with P90X and it has definitely made me stronger and I have seen results. I felt it was mainly focused on upper body so I incorporate the Brazilian Butt workout. The bum bum is very rapid and difficult to get through with no breaks but after week one, I made it all the way through with no breaks. I love the bum bum, tight and high (my bum bum still burns and I'm on wk 4), sculpt (great overall wo) and Tummy tuck (prefer it over Ab ripper). I have been a difference in my butt. It's more firm and I have noticed it's getting higher. I think I need more than the 4 weeks as it's a 4 wk program but I know it's getting the job done. I will say the dvds can be a bit annoying but they work so I'm sticking to them in conjunction with P90X. My body is getting tighter, I'm getting stronger and I feel great. Would be interested in trying more beachbody wo's rather in the year.

Does this make your butt bigger?! I have a small body but a large back side and I don't want it any larger =/ I just want to slim down. Does this make your butt bigger?!

Anonymous said...

I was hesitant to trying this program. But I ordered it off eBay and set to work the week I got it. I took measurements before and measured myself again after two weeks. I lost 7 inches off places like my waist, thighs, and hips! I could feel and see the difference! My jeans fit so much better and it greatly reduced my muffin top. Also if anyone just wants to tone up and not lose weight this is great! It burns fat but replaces it with muscle so your weight stays similar. BUT since its muscle its dense and literally your body just gets smaller! Mine just condensed, which I love. I got a cold on my third week so I quit and have been lazy ever since. Also I ate what I wanted and still got those results. Its a tough workout and takes FOREVER. it was literally the longest hour of everyday. But it's worth it and IT WORKS! WORTH EVERY PENNY! Now just to get back at it for swimsuit season! I have goals for some abs! (It works your WHOLE BODY not just your butt and hips. It tones everything! BONUS!) Good luck everyone!

I started BBL yesterday. Today was my 2nd day. What a workout. Bum Bum is awesome. Woke up extremely sore. Although I like the workouts, I do find myself cursing at the TV because of how fast the moves are. I'm looking forward to the changes to my pear shape. Thanks to all who sent their reviews!!!

I have been doing the Brazil Butt Lift Workout for 3 weeks now. I am 18, size 4 and naturally pretty healthy. I bought this workout because I don't have the money (or motivation) to go to the gym every day. I figured if i had it at home I would have no choice but to stick with it. This is my alternative to sitting on the couch. I LOVE this workout! I am not "Fat" or anything but after doing this workout i feel alot better and have more energy. I absolutley love Leandro, his accent and his motivational sayings "tighten ze boom-boom", "Don't settle for less" Some people say the girls are "cheesy" but i like that they are dressed in bright colors and ALWAYS smile! The meal plan is also excellent. I bought this workout to stay healthy instead of loose weight and the meal plan is so easy to follow because everything is delicious and filling. I highly recommend this for someone who wants to have fun and get fit! (My buns are looking awesome as well, The Bum Bum workout makes your rear sore for days- awesome!)

Day One of My BBL. I did P90x before, play Racquetball and hit the gym machines 3-4 times a week.
Bum Bum totally whipped my butt. I did not take a break, though I really wanted to (badly). I do not sweat, ever (could never do gym as at school do to that, doctors orders, I do have the sweat glads yet they do not work right) but felt slightly wettish on my forehead today. Right now my legs feel like jello. I am also using the BodyBugg. I am 5'8 and weigh 135lbs...all I am looking for is reducing body fat %. I am a pear shape...so tomorrow BBL is making me do cardio and tummy tuck. Can not wait! I shall keep you posted.

Does program is definately not for people who are obese or that have not been to the gym for a long... time. But, I can tell it works because its so...painful, which means its working the muscles that you normally do not use. But, I am hoping that with time the pain will get better.

On day three of BBL and LOVE it. It is challenging, but some people on here are making it sound way harder than it is. I think it's just different. It's an unusual way of moving. I can already feel a difference. I'm a FIRM fan/believer and have gotten extreme AND FEMININE results with their workout vids, but I wanted to mix it up a little. IF you're overweight, try the FIRM vids first...then do this one. I've done the FIRM vids for over three years now consistently...I work out every day unless ill. I love exercising and being able to do the work at home. Try BBL after you're gotten to your goal weight. Otherwise, I think you'll turn that fat into muscle, which is great, but you may not get all that slimmer...

I just got my DVDs yesterday and tried it out....let me say that I am SORE today(in a good way!). I thought I was in pretty good shape already, as I'm 5'7" and 125lbs, but I couldn't even finish the Bum Bum dvd yesterday. I made it 3/4 of the way through, stopped, and I really feel it today. I'm thrilled! Oh, and I also got it on Amazon...it's much cheaper.

Today was my first day of the workout, and it's enough to say that it does work, you can feel it in your booty and thighs.I was doing P90X but it's just too rough for women (in my opinion). The brazil butt lift workouts, from what I saw, can give you a more femenine toned body! Can't wait to start to see some changes so I can use my new swimsuits :D

I have been doing p90x for over two months, and need more lower body focus. My thighs, butt and stomach are where I carry any extra weight. Can anyone tell me if this program makes a big difference in the legs especially?

I have been using BBL on and off for a year now. Within the first week I could feel the results. I was in pain but I knew that it was working. Even though I have been using it for over a year and can get through every single workout I still have to stop for a couple of seconds to catch my breath. Also I am drenched in sweat after every workout. It really does work I have lost 20 pounds and could see the results all over my body. I love it.

I did a little research before purchasing the BBL DVDs and after reading numerous reviews and blogs and watching women strutt their real "junk" on youtube, I bought it. The DVDs got to me today so I'm going to start them tomorrow and I'm super excited. I'm just trying to tone and lift my booty so fingers crosseed. I'm petite, 5'0 and 123 lbs. I run and do aerobic classes (spin, step and zumba)at least 4-5 days a week so I'm by no means a lazy person. I'll post after a week to let you know how it goes from a "real" woman since some people complain about these reviews being fake. :)

Ok, so I just received the BBL workout system. I am sort if used to working out and thought that Jillian Michaels workouts were the toughest you could get. I did Bum Bum, but was only able to do 15 minutes and had to stop. I was totally exhausted. It has been two days since then and I am still so sore that I can barely walk. I mean I could understand it if I was new to working out, but I am not. I have tried several workout dvds, and done weight training, etc and this one dvd has me more sore than anything I have ever done. I have not been able to do another oneof the BBL workouts yet, although I am going to give it another try tomorrow. I can't say if it works yet, but all I know is that I am positive that if anyone sticks with this for four weeks, you HAVE to see a change in your body. After the first workout, I am sure you will agree. Just try it. I dare you!! I will post again in a couple of weeks, and let you know about the results I am sure I will be getting!!!

Okay on my third day of BBL and am unbelievably sore! So, so sore! Day two was almost impossible because I could hardly move through the positions on the floor! So is anyone else this sore??? Wow! Ouch! I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....

Anonymous said...

Okay I just read more then half of the comments as I am just reading to see if anyone has achieved results after doing it 3 days a week while doing other work outs (slim in 6 & running). I am only about 12 lbs overweight according to me... I've always been an athletic woman, but started running about 3 years ago and as all know running is the ultimate wkout, but it also has the losing hut effect so I started to do the butt lift about 3 weeks ago and I have done it 9 times and it is intense, my but is burning and I feel the results are slowly hut surely. As Anyone with the least bit of athlete. Sense and or background knows all workouts can only have a positive effect, but your diet is 80% of what you look like and I am not doing the suggested diet because I can't with a family to feed every day, a separate diet would be too much stress, t I eat very healthy either way and consume about 1200-1400 cal a day and wkout 5-6 days per week from 1.5 to 2 hrs. I feel good and my husband says my body is getting really tolled although I weigh the same as I did 2.5weeks ago.

So all who are trying, good for you and all who are obviously hating, that sucks for you because beachbody obviously has effected many in positive ways if its the most talked about workout program in years. I am very optimistic and have faith that these are going to be effective as promised.

So here I am After one week and I am so happy I stuck with it! The rest day after the third day was well deserved. I feel amazing and already notice a difference! So yes I was miserably sore, but it was worth every minute of it! Cannot imagine after 4 weeks!! So excited!!

These comments are ridiculous... how incredibly irritating. It's so obvious that probably 80% of these comments were intentionally written to try and sell the product; I'm not saying the workout isn't effective but it's just sad to see that people probably get paid to write fake comments to manipulate others to buy their products. Honestly, at least be smarter about it... change it up a bit, stop using all-caps and putting emphasis on the same words and spelling so precisely. You think people actually take the time of day to capitalize all the important words that coincidentally will make the product look enticing? like really? Anyways, if that's not enough I'm sure at least regular people wouldn't go out of their way to write a giant, detailed paragraph defending the product against another person like me who has noticed the bogus comments. Wonder what the response to this opinion is going to be ;)

Anonymous said...

.....A QUESTION!!!!!....I dont really want to loose weight, especially on my butt....I want to grow it lol....I cant work out if I should by the DVD's for this purpose?????....All I hear is talk of slimming down!?!?!?

Anonymous said...

So does this really work??
Because the second person above my comment says that people are being paid to say this which i think is true cause it seems like you know exactly how much calories you burn :O

Anyways i have this dvd i only done the bum bum yesterday and am too scard to do it again but hopefully i will pull my self to do it.. and the person who said that are people sore after doing this.. well my answer is yes!! my legsss and anything below by stomach are killing me

But i have to say is that i think it works cause weirdly my butt fills tighter and sore by the way :P

And i may be the youngest person here or not but if it hurts this bad then something is buring hopefully its the FAT ;P

I am 29 5'3 125lbs and a mother of one 3 year old. I have a bubble butt and everyone always tells me I wish I had your butt, well they do not see it with my clothes off. I have cellulite that I can not get rid of. I saw the bbl workout and thought well I will try it because I do tons of squats and lunges and I can not get rid of those dimples! Plus my hubby and I are going to Hawai so I want to look good in a swimsuit. I am on my 3rd week of the workout and my dimples are slowly disappearing! I just do the bum bum workout which I do everyday! The one con is the workout band I got broke. I started out doing the high and tight but I have no workout band so I need to get another. The key is diet and doing it almost everyday to see results but it's like every workout you have to stick with it. Good luck to all!

Susan said...

What I find irritating is the bitter posters who are assuming these reviews are fake/being paid for etc. Well perhaps you are from a competitive company and just can't stand the fact that Beachbody products do well because they WORK. So either get off your butt and try the workouts yourself or just stop trying to hijack this thread with your miserable attitude. I have been using the BBL for 6 months and it has changed my body immensely and at 45 I feel and look better now than I did in my 20's. So there you go..I'm a REAL person, stating MY OWN opinion that I was NOT paid to do..

I think MANY of these reviews are fake as well. I've used a couple Beachbody products like Slim in 6, Power 90, and Chalean Extreme. Yes, they are good home workout videos but they aren't the best. The FIRM and Jackie Warner's vids are just as good if not better! I'm thinking about buying Brazilian Butt Lift but after seeing how BB promotes their products with fake reviewers I'm not so sure...

To start I am 33yrs 5,2 127. I am a mom, a college student, and volunteer at the community theater. I am too busy for the gym so I am a BB video junkie.I am from a long line of pear shaped woman and was looking for something to work my butt and legs.
I have used differet BB workouts videos including Turbo Jam,P90,P90X, Hip Hip Abs,Insanity. Turbo Jam is just ok and although they were good workouts I wasnt getting any burn. Hip Hop abs is fun and good for someone first starting and just looking for a fun but effective workout. In my room where I workout I couldnt use P90x because I have no doorway for equipment. So I went to Insanity and OMG. Insanity is hardcare. I have done the first 3 days and the one area I can feel it most in is my butt.I saw BBL on the beachbody site and ordered it. I just got in the videos and will start tomorrow. I need to go to the store to get the food items on the 1st week list. From there I will decide if I want to keep doing Insanity or do BBL

I am 19, 5'4", and I weigh 180 lbs. I've always been athletic and involved with sports. I started gaining weight like crazy last year and I didn't know why I couldn't keep it off. I gained around 30lbs. in total. Finally, my doctor ran some tests, to find that I have Hoshimoto's disease. (hypothyroidism) I've become really depressed and a hermit, I guess you could say. I'm a full time student, and summer's coming... I even blew off a beach trip with my friends and made up a lame excuse. I've have p90x sitting in my closet for 2 months. I did it for about 3 days before, but then I stopped. Now, I am back, with a great mindset and I am more determined than ever to get into the best shape I have ever been in. I want to incorporate BBL into my daily routine, but I've been reading that it's not for beginners. I'm willing to try it and push myself to do as much a day as possible. I have a beach trip planned for the first week in August this year to celebrate my final day of p90x lean! Would you recommended BBL for me? (I would say my butt is more on the flat side, but it's not extremely flat; it could just use some specified attention.)

I don't just want quick results; I want life-long change.

bbl works! kills my butt to get the same results at the gym i have to lift heavy weights. Its great to incorporate into your workout routine for the week. I do yoga, run hit the weights as well as a number of videos. The bumbum video is a worthy challenge for my butt :) My bf who is a weight lifter hurt his butt doing this haha pretty funny when he had to do the dancing part :P

I just did my first day of BBL yesterday. Not a rep, I didn't buy it, I downloaded it online.

It's hard. Really hard. I'm not fit per se, but for the past 3 weeks i've been hitting the gym so thought I might be up to it.

I'm only 115 lbs but I wanted to try it because i have always had two creases (instead of one bigger one) under my right cheek which drives me crazy, and I was hoping lifting and toning my butt might make it go away.

'Bum Bum' isn't remotely fun. I managed 15 mins before my knees started cracking (I'm 21, never had great knees but still, ow) and had to stop. There are no breaks and he doesn't take the moves slowly to start off with, so it's very difficult to keep up. I worry I'm performing the lunges/swats wrong.

I'm going to keep up with it though. If in 2 weeks I still can't manage 'Bum Bum' then I will accept defeat. At least I'll know if it works. Will post back here then.

I have been doing the BBl workout for the past 2 months. I did P90X for about a year and really loved it. However, having a dreadful pear shape, P90X didn't address my lower body enough. So I purchased BBL thinking it would help.

I have to say that I love doing the workouts and I have toned my thighs a bit. But I still can't pass the pencil test and I can't imagine that in only one more month that my lower body will be where the infomercial promises it to be. I am tighter though. But my thighs have not shrunk.

Listen, it is a good workout. My lower body is getting stronger and stronger, but it isn't the miracle I was hoping for. I am going to continue however and hope it improves. I don't know if anything can truly help me besides serious diet and liposuction. But I'm going to keep at it. I haven't been strict about my eating and that could be a reason that I am still so bottom heavy. I am 5'7 1/2" and weigh 132-135. I'm sure an intense diet would greatly help. So, my final thought is that the workouts are hard and definitely do something. But if you're like me and wanting a miracle, this isn't it. If you want to be stronger and tighter, sure. It does that. Good luck whatever you decide.

I've been doing Brazil butt lift for 4 weeks and I gotta tell you it works.I've lost so much in my thighs and butt even my abs. I started out doing slim in 6 for a year and I like Brazil butt lift more. Gotta tell ya the bum bum workout kicked my butt more then the other dvd's did. But I really like the high and tight I like to feel the burn and you definitely feel it.

I was 250lbs at the age of 23 and the Jane Fonda era. i lost 150lbs with Herbalife and walking, then with Jane Fonda. keep in mind at that time it was all high impact. i went from a size 22 to a size 4. at the age of 43 again I needed to get back to shape. I was a size 10 and 140 lbs, 5' tall.
In 3 months of following the routine to its letter , and a 1200 calorie diet, I went to a size 4 and 120 lbs. i bought myself a new closet full of clothes. then i got P90x. AFter the first round I was 110lbs a size 00 and in the best shape. of my life. i was the most popular girl in high school and nobody recognized me at a reunion.
I did another round round of p90x and was on top of the world. after that i only did yoga or cardio 3 times a week and kept it for 2 years. in the way i picked up a few more beach body dvds.
I got hurt not able to exercise and went back to bad eating habits. I am now 140 lbs again and in worse shape than when started years ago.
this morning I went to the supermarket to stock on healthy food and get ready to start Monday. I got turbo fire bbl and Insanity. i will start with turbo fire.
BUTTTTTT! yes beach body is the worse company to buy from. once they get a hold of your credit card they keep charging you. the first time they kept chatging for stuff i never ordered. hard to get them on the phone. i let american express deal with them. got credited back my money, and blocked them as a vendor with my amex.
i ordered everything from amazon and sister only uses prepaid visa cards.
They are the best dvds, so get yourself a prepaid card, just push the play button and get ready for the best body of your life. they are not a fake. i am getting married in dec and cant wait to get my beach body again.
good luck.

I just had my second baby by a c-section and I was wondering if it would be too soon for me to try a workout like this one. I was reading most of the reviews and it seems like BBL is hardcore.
I'm just looking to tone my body and not lose weight. I want to gain more muscle. But would it be too soon for me to try to do an intense workout like BBL ???

Elizabeth Rod- I'm assuming you mean you jog 5mph-5.5mph, not 50-55mph.. right?

I bought the DVD last year and never did it but I started working out again 2 months ago and decided to try the DVD this week. I just finished the third days routine and am exhausted. After the first day I could barely walk I was so sore but it felt good. I have to agree with many other people, it is very fast paced and somewhat frustrating when you are not sure if you are doing it right. I will post again next week if I survive.

A few post up, a few people wrote in and were blasting the Beachbody Company. Well, I have a great testimony that I can only thank Shaun T the creator of Insanity/ Beachbody for transforming my body. I have worked and worked out in a gym in my early 20's. I am now in my late 30's and I will say my body has reformed itself to what I was in my 20's in 3 months. All thanks to the wonderful program Insanity and Beachbody's support system that they offer. I am sorry you had a bad experience and I cannot speak of how you worked the program- meaning exercise form/committment and diet. However, do not state a comment as you did without really looking into and researching all the great testimonies Beachbody has throughout the web. Facebook also has many web pages you can go to and meet real people who are getting wonderful results with Beachbody programs. I know not all people have good experiences with Beachbody products, but I would say 90% of all customers are very satisfied with the workout and fitess products this company promotes. I will continue to use and promote this company. It is a great company and has wonderful and very effective alternatives to the gym atmosphere.

I'm a college student and Science major so I don't have much time in my schedule. My butt has always been a problem area for me. It was relatively flat. I have to say that this routine in BBL has given me better results than I ever had at the gym.

If you do the routine on schedule, with correct movement and general effort, as well as eat healthy you with see a better butt.

In 4-5 weeks, the pencil no longer stuck (my butt became lifted, round, & full), my abs became flat (I could start seeing almost a 6 pack)-lost 4 inches off of my waist, lost the cellulite off of my thighs, and felt confident naked.

It is a worthwhile investment if you can handle it & commit. I swear by it and recommend it to others on a regular basis.

it sure worked the right muscles!

I just ordered BBl and I was wondering if it helps you lose weight besides your lower body?

I ordered these dvds and they sat in the box for awhile. I decided to give it a go this week. After following just the Basic workout, my legs were burning already. I put the Bum Bum workout in and quit after a few minutes. First, the instructor, Leandro, seems as though he is hopped up on too much caffeine. He annoys me a little. Second, there is no rest between exercises so I would suggest if you are a beginner, to hit the pause button if you need to. I'm not sure if this really works because I haven't been using it that long. I tried it again today and got further than I did yesterday but I just couldn't follow it so I lost interest. Not sure if this helps anyone or not. If you are a beginner, I would suggest starting off with a slower-moving workout.

I ordered my videos last week and they arrived after a week. I've had them for three days now. On the first day, since it was a Tuesday, I tried to follow the Tuesday schedule for my butt type. I did the cardio axe (25 minute video) and was sweating profusely. I didn't make it to the second video for that day as recommended.

Then the day after, yesterday, I did the introductory video which explains how to do the exercises the correct way, and then I did the Bum Bum video. The introductory video had me sweating!

The Bum Bum video kicked my butt. It was very fast paced and I probably did only about 1/3 of the exercises and with bad form. For most of it I was just trying to keep my balance and flailing my arms to keep from falling over. This morning my hamstrings hurt a ton. I'm sure the rest of me will start hurting also.

A bonus I see with the workout is that it requires a lot of upper body strength also. For most of the workout, your arms are up in the air/above your head and that adds cardio. I think I'm going to stick with it but I will report back soon on results.

I just ordered my DVDs a few hrs ago..hopefully this works!...I'll be sure to post a review if it does.

I haven't ordered my dvds yet, but plan to. I did the bum bum workout with a beachbody coach today because I wanted to know about shakeology and other things that was offered. So, he showed me an introduction video and it outlined everything including the exercise videos, so he said we could do one of them - I chose the bum bum. It was hard and had me sweating after about 15 minutes but I could feel it where it was needed. I am getting this video and definitely will be using it. LOVED IT!

I bought the Brazil butt DVD in anticipation of vacation, I have had it for a little over a month and I love it. The workouts are fun and varied, so I actually want to fit it in everyday. I was already on a weight loss fitness routine prior to the purchase, but it really amped up my results. I looked and felt great in my swim suits on vacation, have lost 3 inches off of my hips in one month, and I am contninuing to lose weight at about 1- 1.5 pounds per week. Keep in mind I am also biking and swimming in my exercise rotation, but I really recommend the brazil butt Lift DVDs. My tush is firmer, and there aren't many moves that I need to modify (I have previous shoulder and knee injuries and surgeries so I can't do workouts like P90x, and need to be careful to avoid reinjury) and it truly is a fun workout. I also got my own therabands that were a little stronger than the band it came with which I broke. If you are considering this, take the chance, I have found it really helpful. It is motivating and is keeping me on track.

I just started up my cardio on my elliptical & gonna start alternating BBL, Zumba (wii) & running. I have my 10ys highschool reunion Aug 27th. I wanna make all those snotty girls hurl lol. Wish me luck, Trying bbl tomorrow. I'll keep y'all updated

I've been doing bbl for 3 weeks and I love it! I am 7 weeks postpartum after a c-section and my tummy is already toned and flat (still slight skin sag over incision) along with a higher, rounder butt. Even my back muscles are defined. I have 15lbs to lose to get back to pre-pregnancy weight but already lost 35lbs of it. I did workout throughout my entire pregnancy and did not over-eat.

The bumbum and high and tight rip my ass apart and I LOVE that burning soreness. I def recommend this!

My husband is a mixed-martial artist and in incredible shape. He does the Insanity workouts to keep his cardio up. It leans him out rather than bulks him up which is great!

Give it a try before you knock it. It really does work if you're committed and disciplined.

That freshman 15 did not hurt me too bad but I did gain 10 pounds in a year and pretty much gained it all on my hips and thighs! I am currently doing a hybrid of insanity and brazillian butt lift and its kicking my butt! I do the insanity videos first thing in the morning and the BBL videos at night. I honestly dont do the cardio axe video because its too "dancy" compared to the insanity pure cardio video(my fav!)I've tried chalean extreme and slim in six. I sent the chalean extreme videos back to purchase the insanity ones and im glad I did! I used to own slim in 6 and they're around my house somewhere and they were good but got boring quickly. The high and tight and the bum bum video are GREAT! I probably sound like a beach body rep for capatilizing the word great (sarcasm) but I'm not and I hate when people accuse of others of getting paid to lie. I am a beach body junkie because they're videos really work! The tummy tuck video is pretty cool too. My upper and middle abs were SOOO sore the next day but it did not really target my lower abs too much. Overall the BBL videos are worth the money and they are some of the cheaper ones on beach body. I love insanity but sometimes its good to mix it up with something less intense! Eventhough, the first time I did the Bum Bum video I was sweating just as much as the insanity video I had done that morning. It was due to the new moves but 2 weeks later it still gets my heart rate going and thighs burning! I cant wait to see results after 4 weeks but hopefully it happens sooner! I wish the commercial for the videos mentioned how long those people had done the workout for to get those results but I guess I just have to keep pushing play!

First off let tell each of you reviewers that I'm a normal girl trying to get into this "bettering myself, because I want to feel better about myself" trend.

*ABOUT ME : I'm 5' 7", 150 lbs and 25. I've never been athletic or real active to say the least. I started gaining weight in college and currently work night shift, which sure hasn't helped. I am not as comfortable in body as I'd like to be.

*PRODUCTS: I just ordered Zumba and got it last week. Today will be my third workout since. I've not done it everyday. I sweat with Zumba so I know its slowly working.
I ordered BBL a few days ago and it should be here by end of week.
*MY PHYSIQUE/ SHAPE: I'm more pear shaped. Have wide hips, thighs, and a booty with saddle bags and cellulite on thighs, booty and love handles.
In hopes this along with Zumba will help me.

* OPINION OF OTHER REVIEWERS AND THEIR VIEWS: It's normal to be skeptical of things, but these people completely bashing the company and products maybe haven't given it a chance.

Lastly, I've got to change my eating habits as well, but hopefully Zumba and BBL will help me start this on the right foot. I have P90x waiting for me. Right now its too advanced for my abilities (or lack of.)

* once I have more updates on things i will report back!*
Thanks for your time.

i just made it through my first week yaaay!!!:D 2 rest days included, not bad:D i gotta say i've tried so many workout dvds, and this one is by far the most fun workout ive ever had. and its so hard on your butt it has to work!:) bum bum is brutal, but after a few times u get used to it. i use to play volleyball so i just imagine im still playing to get through all those squats:D i definitely recommend it, i ll let u know about the results in three more weeks:D

I did Insanity for 7 weeks and my thighs became BIGGER! Yes, it was muscle mass, but I was not looking to gain man thighs. Looking back, most of the females on the Insanity video (minus Ariel) have thickish-mannish thighs, not lean and toned.

I'm 5'2", 120 lbs, and in relatively decent shape. My upper-body is fine, I just need a little help with my lower body. I'm hoping Brazil Butt Lift reverses the damage done by Insanity. I ordered it today.

I"ve tried this workout but I did a little modification to it. so right now the only bbl video I follw is the high and tight. Couldn't keep up with cardio axe. Just not good with the moves and I am not dedicated enough to practice. Anyway from doing high and tight alone for 3 weeks, I swear my butt is firmer and in better shape. I do lots of sports to but before I started high and tight, I still did lots of sports and had flat butt. I didn't commit to the program but im pretty sure this workout works. Some moves are similar to what the victoria secret angels workout. Well at least from what I've seen from u tube.

I have been doing BBL for a little over two weeks, I have lost about Seven pounds, I have noticed a little difference in the butt area. The videos kick my butt, it is a little to fast paced for my liking. I'm sweating crazy by time I'm done and the soreness OMG! I did not think your butt could be sore like that LOL. I also do the elliptical for 20 minutes after the BBL videos.. BTY this is the only video or machine that has really worked my butt!

I've had this workout for a while and I an really not a motivated individual but I feel so great after a bbl video. I love the sculpting and high and tight videos. I run on the days i should do cardio axe, which works for me. I have crazy cellulite for a 22 year old, I'm very pear shaped and they have workouts that are designed for your body type. I have my own lifestyle as far as eating goes, I am vegan and eat a lot of fruit and vegetables daily which plays a role in any workout program i choose to do.

I really do recommend this to anyone who may be skeptical. It does work, it's so invigorating and it'll keep you motivated to push through. The girls on the videos are just more motivation for me to keep on keepin' on.

Buy it, you won't regret it. Just keep doing it and you'll see mad results.

Good luck, get that ass into shape!

"high and tight" is by fun the funnest BBL dvd. the bands (included) are so much fun to work with and you feel the burn immediately.

I have thought about buying Brazil Butt Lift for a long time, but was a little skeptical. Well I had a baby just over 4 months ago, so I wanted something to help get rid of the 15 lbs and help me keep my newly found booty. So after reading a lot of reviews I went ahead and ordered it off of eBay. Now 2 weeks later, I am sooo glad that I did! High and Tight does wonders! I am so amazed at how fast my but has changed, and my thighs are getting smaller. And Tummy Tuck will leave your abs screaming for a break! I wish I had had this a long time ago...

I've been doing this workout for three weeks & I LOVE IT! I did the P90x & was unhappy with the results. I got thicker everywhere & heavier! I don't think it was ment for women at all. My hubby is doing this with me & we are so stoked on it. You see the results quickly & love checking each other out after each workout!! We make a game of it & we are looking like one hot couple! I am 40 & he is 57. It's not easy, but everyday it gets easier. We are having so much fun with it. Now my hubby walks around speaking Portuguese (the words he stole from Leanordo) & showing everyone his bum-bum! We recommend this workout to everyone! Great card!

I have been doing bbl for 1 week, and i've read peoples comments saying they see results after 5days, or after the first week, i don't believe this at all. i have seen no results, just hoping i will see results at 4 weeks or i'll be so disappointed.

I have done P90x and Insanity and neither have really targeted the buns and thighs. I decided to incorporate the BBl into my routine. After doing these workouts just 5 times over the past two weeks, my husband is already commenting on the difference. It is quite noticeable how quickly everything is tightening up and the shape it is taking

I've been doing it for a month now. And I was full of hopes just like some of you. Just couldn't wait to see results. I follow the plan exactly the way it's in the calendar you get with the program. And I have to say I'm more than happy. I didn't expect miracles but when I look in the mirror I'm surprised with what I achieved just after a 4 week period. My saddlebags are gone!!! My cellulite is disappearing!!! After so many years I finally see my bum bum smooth and firm and younger. I'm only 27 but after 3 pregnancies you can't expect to have a nice firm bum. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that it works and it's definitely worth the money but you need to make a commitment and be consistent and do it no matter what. It'll pay off. After just 4 weeks my butt is lifted, it's firm and pointy. I never though I could have a Brazilian-like bum bum.
If I can have it - YOU can have it too!!!
Thank you Leandro.

This work out kicks my butt (pun intended). I've just completed my 3rd work out. I must admit first day I could only get through the first 10 minutes (Bum Bum is 29 minutes) and I was sweaty and sore the next day. I'm so happy I've kept up with it. I feel great after the workout.

I'm 5'2 and weight about 114 pounds, I have a round butt but I just want to firm and lost some belly fat and I must admit this is by far one of the best workouts I've done.

I don't work for Beach Body, btw. Not sure who is the paranoid person that thinks every great review is fake. It's not, get over it!

I ordered my BBL a week ago and it should arrive in about 3-7 days. After reading the comments I am SO EXCITED to get started with the program and see how it will work for me! I consider myself to be in a pretty good shape already but I'm really hoping to lift my "bum bum" and get that overall toning. What I personally love about this site is that the posts are so recent, which just means I have many "BBL-soulmates" all around the world who are also trying to keep up with Leandro! I will definitely come back to post about my experiences with BBL once I get started. But so far keep the motivation up & keep up with the good work!

I bought BBL about a year and a half ago. I worked really hard at it and ate 1200 calories per day + 1 cheat meal per week and lost 40 lbs in about 4 months. My butt was in the best shape ever. The workouts are great for overall slimming and are especially effective for abs, too. About 10 lbs have creeped back on and my butt isn't looking so great anymore so I've started BBL again today. It's hard to get started again but I know I will gain strength and endurance pretty quickly so I won't be moaning and groaning during the workouts in a couple of weeks.
For those of you who are already slim but want to change the shape of their butt, this workout will work for you, too. There are 4 different workout rotations to choose from. The workout for you would include doing more High & Tight than cardio. If you are overweight you'll do more cardio. There's also what's called The Classic Solution if you're not sure what to do or you have a combination of problem areas. I've done The Firm which made me boxy shaped. I've done Turbo Jam which killed my knees. I've done combinations of other workouts which didn't give me awesome results. BBL gave me awesome results. It's tough but very, very effective.

Hi, I got this DVD in April, I am so busy i dont have time to do there suggested plan for Pear shaped girls. Like any program, in order for this DVD to work you have to count your calories and watch what you eat and you have to be consistent. Bum Bum is super hard and I work out intensely in bootcamp class martial arts class and let me tell you it is challenging. You have to bite the bullet and do it. You will be drenched in sweat within 10 minutes of Bum Bum i know I was. Also Bum Bum Rapido is great for those morninings where you have no time to workout when he does the super jacks whoa! they are tough!!! sheesh.. I really enjoy Tummy Tuck and Bum Bum I didnt like the Cardio Axe too much its a bit annoying but I am very picky with my Cardio so. Id honestly rather jog or jump rope for cardio they do dance moves. I havent tried the Sculpt but I am eager to. If you have to lose 30-40 pounds you will lose weight with this but you have to diet and you have to not give up cause this workout is not for begginers AT ALL, trust me. WHats so annoying is those girls on the video that are smiling all the time. Im thinking in my head how are you smiling arrrggg Im gonna faint here! and they are not even sweating!! what are they supernatural beings!!?

Enjoy I give it 8.5/10

I just bought my set of BBL DVD's, VERY excited to try them out!!! Will post a review 30days after I start!

I have been on this DVD program for 9months and LOVE it!!! I have had 4kids... Tummy was jelly and so were thighs. I am firmer, tighter and my abs are much more defined. I am stronger, leaner and from all the core building you get from dvd's... A faster and more efficient runner. I have ran for 10years now and never got the firmness I did with the b
BBL DVDs.... They ate not boring still after all this time. I was not really good at the beginning with any of the videos and now I can probably teach a class!!!! This has also made my posture better and have been asked by family what has caused my straight posture! These videosmare just great and owe this creator a huge thank you!!!

i just downloaded it online and am giving it a try starting today when i get the little one up for his nap, some of the previous comments annoyed me by saying that your shouldn't try this if you are over weight you should wait and lose first and then use it, another person said be careful because your fat might turn to muscle !! come on that's like saying your bone will turn to hair, its cant happen its impossible lol !!! fat does not turn to muscle full stop. they are two completely different aspects to the body. logically if you are overweight and you use this dvd and the diet plan you will of course lose weight !!! this dvd would burn a good amount of calories by the looks of it and if your following the diet plan you will have cut down on calories... of course you will lose weight so go for it !!! not only will you lose weight but you will tone up aswel and you will build muscle which is great because more muscle will burn more calories and no you wont bulk up like a man thats impossible unless you are on a body builders eating and exercise regime !!

I'm a small girl and my butt isn't terrible, but I have bad cellulite! Does anyone know if this program helps with cellulite?!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!! IF you pan to buy it have weight bought ahead! ankle weights and even though it comes with a "botty band" buy one yourself! that booty band is a pain in th a$$! it gets stuck together and it makes the workout less intense than what it has to be. if you are in the "flat solution" plan besides the workouts that are in the booty makeover guide do the 9 minute bum bum rapido or the bum bum live after EVERY WORKOUT.once it starts getting less hard use double ankle weight advanced booty bands heavier weight and you can always do the videos twice.i have tried if for about a week.and it is not as hard as i thought however the bum bums are my favorites they make you sweat!! my "bum bum" is also changing! but it's only a little bit because it's only been a week.

I am a very small person. Weigh about 102 lbs and dont need to lose any weight. However, I want to find a workout that will tone and shape my butt and legs. I definately want to plump up my butt. I feel that it's too flat. Is the brazil butt-lift workout for me?

Lisa said...

I've had the Brazil Butt workout for over a year now. I did the videos consistently for a few months and my butt and legs DEFINITELY were tighter and lifted. Unfortunately I got lazy and it all started to sag again :(
I've been running, doing weights, and working out in the gym for months now but decided to pull out the videos to see if they would help the old derrier. I could barely do 10 minutes of the Bum Bum workout -- it is SO hard!! But, it definitely works. My legs are sore today but I'm going to keep on it so that gravity does not take over yet again....

I am 48 years old and love this series of tapes. For those of you that commented on not being great for older people - hah - hope you realize that ALOT of things get better after 40. I do admit I was sore the first week and took a few Advil to jumpstart my day - but I love it!!

I bought this because 1) I'm brazilian and i love anything brazil (stupid reason i know lol) and 2) I am in love with the victoria's secret models and have always wanted their bodies! So I bought BBL about 2 years ago. I had it for awhile before I started using it because I honestly hate to workout and I never do. As soon as I did i noticed a big difference in 2 weeks and I didn't even use it as recommended. At the time I had lost weight and my butt was looking better than ever. Unfortunately with school (Im in college) and my laziness I stopped using it and I'm back to being a bit saggy in the stomach and butt areas.

I have a 6 week break and I'm so excited to start using this again, you have noo idea. It works as long as u stick to it and at least somewhat watch what you eat. The only workout I dont like is the axe bahia (which is the cardio workout) so I just jog on my treadmill instead on those days.

I do honestly recommend this DVD set coming from a person who HATES to workout because its fun and the results are fast. I would also recommend getting tighter bands after the first week!

i just started this dvd set today. im already in love with it. it is HARD work even if you are not without experience. i should be doing the classic regime, but im going to do the flat one to see if it will give my butt that extra oompf. im fine with my size and weight atm (5'3' 125 lbs size 7 jeans)but i would like to firm up a little more. if i fit into some smaller jeans, bonus! i will post along the way :) so excited. ps the diet looks kinda rediculous

For the passed few years, I've been so self-consious about my behind. It's so flat and I get depressed at times. I need to find something that will get me results. Will this BBL video make my butt rounder?

Hi everyone.....

I just ordered the BBL package today. I have watched the infomercials on TV and really want to try it out. I am looking to tone down my thighs, butt and abs. I have always worked out and been a physical person throughout my life. I also have a dance background.

Lately I have been slacking....eating a little worse, not working out as much, and I am looking for something to add to my routine. I am 31, 5'6" and about 135 pounds and a size 4 or 6, depending on the style. I would like to get back to 125 again and go down a pants size...so I am in need of motivating myself again.

My "normal" workout routine I will do at the gym consists of about 4 days a week doing mixtures of cardio (treadmill, bike, eliptical) and then strength training, usually for about 60-90 minutes altogether. But like I said I am looking for something to help me change it up a little.

Nobody paid me to write this or buy the BBL package. AND like they said, 60 day money back guarantee....so what do we have to lose??? Except for some extra inches.

I will try to keep you posted afer a week or two, etc. I should be receiving my package in the mail within 3-5 days.

Thanks guys!!!

On my second month of this workout and I notice a huge difference. I struggled the 1st week because some of the excercises were pretty intense, but Leandro is so encouraging that i powered through and absolutely LOVE it!. There is so much variety that you never get bored! I am getting incredibly toned...and my butt is getting firmer by the minute! Highly recommend this workout!!!

I ordered this workout video on amazon and received it in the mail three days ago. I am thin, but totally out of shape and live a very sedentary life. The Booty Basics workout is basically just a demonstration on how to do all of the different movements, I'm not even sure your even supposed to work out along with it because it the woman doesn't even do both sides of the body. I shut it off halfway through because it was so boring, and started doing the Bum Bum workout, which is 35 mins long. There's NO way I could have gotten through that entire thing on the first try, it is way too fast paced and there didn't seem to be any breaks. I had to shut it off after 5 minutes. My husband started laughing when he saw me sitting on the couch so quickly! The crazy thing is, my butt was hurting the day after, and yesterday too. After only 5 minutes of working out!! I couldn't believe it! I imagine if I keep up with this I would see results pretty quickly, but am very discouraged by the difficulty level. I wouldn't recommend this for people who are just starting to workout.

Ok, so I have tried the hip hop abs videos from beach body and will honestly tell you I loved them...lost 40 pounds in about 8 months...may not sound all write, but for me it was...i lost a lot in the first three moths and the rest tricked off...I'm thinking of trying this one for the last twenty pounds...i have had good experience with beach body stuff before, so I assume this one will be good? Ill let ya know :)

I tried Insanity workout it did not work for me but it did for my sister. We did the workout together. Anyway it all depends on your body type and finding the right program for you. For example my sister lost weight on the elliptical machine, however; I tried for weeks and put all my strength into and nothing! I got on the treadmill and saw results quickly and treadmill did not work for my sis. Do not give up people, just find the right one. I ordered this last night and am super excited to begin.

I'm excited about trying the product. I will honestly let you know about what I really think after using it for a while. Thanks!

After these reviews I really want to purchase it! My hubby hates and thinks I am a sucker for infomercials.

Anonymous said...

I appreciate all these "real" reviews. Thank you all for posting and I am going to order these dvds asap. I can't wait to try them!! I actually saw these on an infomercial in the middle of the night last night.

Okay so I'm 17 and my mom got me the bbl DVDs cause I wanted them and I have been reading the reviews and everyone says its really intense and you have to be in good shape to begin with but I'm about 24% body fat and in not that great of shape ... I'm what you would call " skinny fat"... I'm 5'7 128lbs and I really need to tone!!! Do you still think I would be able to do the DVDs considering how intense they are?

Anonymous said...

i saw these DVDs on tv today and i thought id search around for some real reviews, and these were great! but i have a question for anyone who has been using them:
i played soccer my whole life so i have pretty muscular thighs, and i don't want a workout that will add to that. id actually prefer something that slims them down instead.

will this workout bulk them up more?

Anonymous said...

This is terrible. I work out 4 times a week using other at home work outs and this one left me feeling unsuccessful and almost angry!

Hey Anonymous! Stop calling people dumb and stupid. Maybe you should learn how to spell. Its spelled PERSON... not persin. Not to mention your other spelling errors.

mommy of 2 here,

I bought the videos a week ago...so far I dont like the cardio axe. I suffer from lack of rhythm and its just so gosh darn fast I have a hard time keeping up and even when I do keep up I barely break a sweat. Disappointing. I dont really like tummy tuck much either. I'm a mother of 2 so I have that baby paunch thing going on..you know the one where that excess skin/flub overflows your waist band?? and I was pear shaped to start with so I have a size 12 butt and no breasts to speak of...anyways, while doing the tummy tuck I noticed that I feel all the burn in my upper abs and dont feel so much as a twinge in the place I want it the most..my lower abs. Very sad about this cause I'm very happy with my body aside from my couple trouble spots (my bum, lower abs and hips)and was hoping that this was finally the solution I'd been searching for. Also, the day after doing my bum bum workout I notice that my thighs are so sore that stairs are a challenge but I dont feel any soreness in my tooshie...strange considering this is a "bum bum" workout....? Either way, I'll keep going and post later results but if this doesn't give me the burn I'm craving within the next month I'll be breaking out the old windsor pilates (which works but is a little boring) and counting the days until the snow melts and I can go rollerblading again.

I ordered this a few months ago and it sat in the box up until this past week, i decided to try it out. I am not an avid exercisor, i hate the gym and the last thing i want to do is work out and get sweaty after working a 10 hour day. Reluctantly i started and the first day my legs were a bit sore, the second day i had to brace myself to sit down because my leg musces were yelling at me. I've never stuck with any workout plan, but i can feel the changes after only 2 sessions so i'm going to stick with it. I'm 5`7 170lbs, so i know i'm not in great shape, but i put the dvd in and i go with what i can that won't make me feel like i'm going to pass out. Even if you can't keep up with the pros in the video doing as many reps as you can and pushing yourself will show you results. And if you keep at it eventually you'll be able to build up your stamina to keep up with them. Stick with it for all you skepticals out there!!!

I saw the commercial and it looks and from the reviews sounds like it does work. But I want to know if there is a way to do the work out and just tone? From what I'm hearing and seeing yes your butt gets tone but it seems to get smaller too. I dont want to lose weight just tone and shape. Anyone have answers? Thank you!

I ordered my BBL program via online today for $70. I declined all the other offers like the extra workout DVDs, DVD protection and the pills. I am really looking forward to losing 20 lbs half of which I gained from the holidays. I am also looking forward to lifting and firming my okole. Hopefully my shipment gets here sooner than I hope to Hawaii. One question, how do you keep to a 1200calorie diet?

Anonymous said...

I'm on my second week of BBL, and I find it "okay". I'm hoping for results, but as it's only been a week, I can't say I'm really noticing a difference yet (nor should I really expect to).

One thing that I would say is it's not as difficult as some have suggested.

I've been exercising daily for about the past four months. I bought BBL as a diversion. I was getting a bit bored with my existing workouts, and wanted to try something new. I figured it certainly couldn't hurt to try one that was geared towards making my butt look better, so....

I'm 46, 5'3", in the 140s (i.e. still trying to lose weight after a 5-year gain spree due to insulin resistance), and I was a bit sweaty and adequately tired after the first day, but not exhausted or anything. I can do all the exercises, although there is a learning curve to some of the moves.

I DID feel a bit of tightness in my "bum bum" after the first day, but since then, nothing really. What I mean is, no muscle group is getting so exhausted that it is painful the next day. But, hey, everyone is different. I just put it down to already being in pretty good physical condition.

I'm hoping for the promised results but, it is at least a decent cardio workout. And there's nothing wrong with that.

If I remember, I'll come back and post my "final" results, once I've done the workouts for 4-8 weeks.

But if you're thinking about buying this DVD set, I would say it's generally worth it. I bought mine at one of those "As Seen On TV" stores for $52 tax. incl.

The only disappointment so far is the tension band. It's basically a strip of balloon rubber. Online complaints suggest it will break or disintegrate before the end of the four weeks, if not sooner. I know I feel it is a nanosecond away from breaking, when I use it.

Oh, there is also not enough stretching in the routines. There is some, but not enough for me. I also do ballet, and I ALWAYS feel the need to do my ballet stretches after the BBL workouts because my muscles are still not stretched and flexible enough.

Still, overall, a good addition to anyone's workout library.

Oh, and (I just submitted a comment) the kit comes with a pencil so you can do the BBL "Pencil Test".

Essentially, you're seeing if you have enough sag to be able to hold a pencil under your butt.

I'm pretty overweight (at LEAST 25lbs, by my standards), although I have been working out daily for the past four months or so. I "passed" the pencil test before beginning the workouts. So...

(I'm 46, currently in the 140s, and 5'3" or 5'4"...whatever 161cm converts to.)

A lot depends on each individual's anatomy and fitness level/challenges.

I would best be described as a pear shape (wiiiiiiide pelvis, even without any fat). However, even at my fattest, I generally didn't have much of a line between my butt and my thigh. When I'm thin (as I have been virtually all my life), I have no line between my butt and my thigh.

So, even though I pass the pencil test, I still need to lose a fair bit of weight AND tone up.
